I love the take about greed and fear on our share price. I can understand that and if its put into real perspective its frightening.
Yesterday at some point in the mid 1.4Ps 88 Energy was valued at £100 Million.. Wow but what do we own? Nothing not even a bike shed. We lease land from the State of Alaska, We have Glossy 3D pics and somewhere along the way have persuaded a medium size oil company to commit $23 Million to a drill. For years 88 has lived from one diluting cash raise to the next and we currently boast 6.7 billion shares . Past drills have been unsuccesful in finding oil that can be produced at a commercial rate, my favourite description in an official RNS is "Oily Clay".........Now on the basis of put your money where your mouth is Premier Oil have come up with the goods, Technology has moved on and our pictures are better...... DW says with absolute certainty " There is definately Oil there" the big question we need answering will be " is the oil there able to be drilled on a commercial basis?" Answer = Yes were laughing...... Answer = No I dread to think

I agree its normal and natural to take a breather after all nothing goes up all the time . Im sure as we steadily rise in price there will be several falls as a result of profit taking followed by renewed confidence in the drill

The big question is what to do about price. What is the right price? Fully developed price.. I've heard anything between 20-50p but that must mean oil flowing commercially not oil on a 3D glossy picture... At the other end of the scale pre spud figures range from 2p to even 5p depending on who you talk to.

Clearly we are now in 2nd gear moving up to 3rd gear. Looking forward to 4th and 5th gear hopefully only brief periods in reverse

One thing that is currently unimportant is the sellers and MM games because everyone is falling over each other to buy. What a difference it makes to intoxication having a sniff of the barmaids apron as the saying goes. The train has left the station and is building up speed and momentum

2.5p to 3p is a reasonable first hurdle but easily achievable

I think it would be unwise to take profit now I recently said I am looking at the 2-3p range on the basis of DWs 3p share options
I think at that stage (if it happens) I would de-risk... pull out my origional stake and let the rest ride

You have to look at everything in perspective the past present and possible future to get a balanced view.. Closing a well with the contents actually found as "oily clay" is bound to have a negative effect. But can you imagine the positive effect of the words "Oil found in quantity for commercial drilling" will have on our share price ? Thats why we are here

Im all for doing the Maths but some of the figures coming out here depend on real things happening and involving large quantities of oil that can be farmed at a commercial rate. we are not yet at that stage. There may well be a good chance of this happening but personally im focusing on 2-3p.. For the DYOR brigade DWs 3p options speak volumes to me so I personally am looking towards that figure. If some of the Maths actually come to fruition, for me thats a bonus and I will be delighted. good luck all...All share buyers are given the same advice shares can go up as well as down and more importantly especially in the case of 88 past performance is not a guide to the future .....the people who say we will get 2p 3p 4p before spud should think about that.. it may be possible but by no means a certainty.. but to base such a thought on previous drills is irresponsible especially to the weak, trusting and gullable that watch this site

Neverlearn. It is by no means a doddle that we will get a life changing result but this time we have a fair/good chance of success there is a difference and for me it's important l understand the difference

The Joke was 0.88p same price as the name of our company 88 Energy. Dont worry I believe we have a good chance now of the black stuff
