1) if we hit the Jackpot DW creams his own curve With his multi million options options
2) if oily clay (again) then hes going in the right direction anyway.. Win Win for DW

But for the likes of us poor shareholders only more turmoil and holding tight to the lottery ticket hoping this time.......

I've accumulated quite a few shares over the last few months the vast majority under 30p. Personally I'm not interested in a few pence profit.
We all know what can happen here.
1) dividend reinstated means money twice a year and it will eventually increase year on year for a while
2) Banks are now solid.. The government made them so with extensive stress tests which Lloyds have exceeded
3) The price is (historically) ridiculously low. Even without history it's low
4) no reason not to hit 50p if a decent dividend is announced.
5) if we hit 60-70+ as many of you are suggesting long term as far as I'm concerned that would be a welcome bonus

If no more permits are being issued then this really is the last chance saloon for 88. No more rinse and repeate with the rights issues no more oily clay and sorry folks we didn't hit oil this time.. But there are billions of barrels of oil down there that we own.. But we do have lots of 3D pics for the next glossy cash raising presentation... So come on DW get this right or switch off the lights when you leave the building for the last time

If your talking about lots of future unemployment and horrendous balance sheets from Richie Sunak in the coming months yes.. Its all part and parcel of it and we will all have to pay for it but life goes on

The word on the street seems to be much more positive now. Vaccinations exceed the 10 million mark. With more major centers opening on a daily basis. Much talk yesterday about holiday bookings. Schools opening soon. Hints of some lock down measures to be relaxed in the coming weeks and months. Possibly now at the bottom of the worst recession in 300 years which means the only way is up.. A sniff of a dividend hints of even a small surplus of profit will send this share north. I believe the share price has been surpressed and undervalued for to long now as a result of government shackles and Covid.. I see a much better share price post Covid as the economy finally moves off the bottom.. Its normal to get the boom after the bust. I see peoples forecasts here of 40-80p in the coming months possible. The future is bright... Go Black horse Go!!

OK so if what you say is true that we get to drill because we have an existing drill permit that's good.. But what about our land and future farm outs etc.. We don't have permits for future drills does it mean this is the last ever 88 drill in Alaska?

We are going through the worst crisis in 300 years defaults on loans will not be pretty .. Our Annual and 6 monthly reports will contain this woefull news and based on that will be ur dividend declaration...not to mention the governments restraints on the dividend.. To me it seems its going to be longer until we get 40p 50p 60p these figures may take much more time to achieve than many of us thought ..but hey im in for the long term

This is a long term investment.. a deal brexit has solidified its position in the market though negative covid news and the state of the ecconomy will play a major part of lloyds journey in the near future. but the strength of the journey and its (in my opinion) inevitable rise in share price but the long term rise in share price will be due to the company results and re introduction of regular dividends for share holders.. please do not mistake the black horse for somthing running in the 2:30 at new market

Are you talking 43-47 after brexit deal is approved by both Parliament and the EU? If so then maybe 40-43p to go much higher we need a dividend declaration and good quarterly reports..

For me a brexit Deal means only a simplicity in paperwork because that's what's implied. We all will be signed up to rules regulations and other red tape.. But will be able to buy and sell with less fuss and still be able to relinquish our club membership.. I don't expect it to be a good deal because 27 against 1 are bad odds. A deal is political it means we will have given away red lines and some of the family silver.. But politically for Boris to be able to shout deal in the worst Christmas in living memory is a major coup and will get him massive brownie points... Unfortunately I'm afraid that's it... The reality is its a charade nothing more.. But on the positive side lloyds share price should benifit enormously.. In the end isn't that why we're here?

This morning is about the Bank of England giving permission for banks to give dividends that's all. With any luck the market will act favourably.. Banks will decide to pay or not when it suits them..

A no deal brexit will hit us hard as did Covid19 but we will recover.. Its not the end of the world. We managed great before Europe and we will do so again. The pain will be temporary..

Already not going to renew leases on hundreds of thousands of acres.. What about the billions of barrels of oil owned by 88? Don't we want them any more? No wonder this well is cheap were only drilling to 6000ft the others were around 20k deep. Let's hope we hit the spot this time..
