When there are concrete developments about OEX and it’s future in Cambay then comes a re-rate.

Republic invested here for a reason. They wouldn’t have gotten involved without some guarantee of a return. It doesn’t take much for the SP to fall; possibly some pi’s moving on after losing patience. Or forward selling due to a new placing?

Unusual size of trade for here. Agree it must be a buy.

They need to meet that objective and show that this new management is serious. Firstly, we need to know who is going to pay for it. Secondly, OEX are legendary for delays and making promises they can�t deliver. The shadow of Ron Miller still looms large.

You are missing the fact that Oilex have always proved unable to get any oil/gas out of the ground. If they can do that, then investment will come in and the SP will rise accordingly and hopefully significantly.

Ducks are being lined up here towards future JV drilling. Sentiment will change with it and this is now a recovery share. Strong hint that Schlumberger Baker-Hughes will report this week and underline the huge potential here available to investors.

It was one 5m sell only @ 0.274.

Just for balance there were over 8m sold post 4pm today too though and there will continue to be sellers and profit takers into any rise here. The Quarterly will very likely be out on ASX late Sunday night/Monday morning and should lead into the 0.3's. A break and hold above 0.35 is key but may prove difficult to achieve until further newsflow during August/September.

Quarterly Report out...?

There will be sellers into the rise so I'd be very happy with a .30 finish today. The 200 day moving average is around 0.35 and anything that holds above there would seem to indicate a genuine change in sentiment about this share. The positive Quarterly Report is due this week; perhaps even a release tonight via ASX. Schlumberger/ Baker Hughes will report on Cambay in early August and again this should be positive and underline the resources present at Cambay and the potential that this company has. Cash repayments from GSPC are coming but incrementally during the year. New assets, potential JV's to fund drilling in Cambay are being targeted here. Sentiment is key and it is slowly changing for the better.

Lots of positive news ahead in the next several weeks commencing with upbeat Quarterly next week. Schlumberger report early August too.
