The idea that they have the wherewithal to have ‘all the ducks lined up’ is unlikely.

Yes they will still hold 45% but it’s no good if they can’t drill it. You need money to do that. With no cash it would be game over imho. They need a partner.

Adams used to post in a unique and barely understandable style about corruption. I’ve been here for several years and remember well the days of promise and potential under Ron Miller who destroyed the SP. I think many of us had given up hope of ever getting any money back. I’ve averaged down to something more respectable. Massive credit to Joe S and the board if they pull this off. My hope is that Republic saw the potential and path towards it and have propped the company up until resolution. 1p anywhere soon would be fantastic. Beware the rampers trying to talk this higher. They will be bailing out with their profits at the same time they will be telling you to buy. There is massive potential here but it will take a long time and there will be ups and downs along the way. Personally, I’d love to see Oilex taken out once they have all of Cambay but don’t expect shareholders will be allowed to benefit too much from any deal. GL to LTHs. We deserve some.

Why announce now? Perhaps tonight before asx opens?

Nobody knows what the court will decide tomorrow. Anyone saying otherwise is simply speculating. Nothing tradewise has indicated any leaks suggesting inside knowledge.

Wouldn’t be a surprise if there is another date set in spite of muttering about this being the final hearing.

However, this stock is cheap in relation to potential value and remains a gamble that could pay off handsomely. The question is when. Tomorrow? Next month? Before the end of the year? Take your positions and hold.

The capital raising will hopefully involve Republic again. If so, then that’s okay.If they are still involved then they are betting on a positive resolution eventually. Oilex has always been a leaky ship. If any insider news is there then you would see much bigger, rapid buying/selling. Truth is no-one knows how this will play out. Even if there is a positive outcome there needs to be drilling actually happening for this to see above 2p. Lots of money needed for that.

Not waiting much longer.

Expecting that the RNS will some tonight sometime between 11pm and 1am our time.

As a LTH here it is natural to fear the worst and that GSPC will fight their corner. This would lead to a protracted legal fight which might take years and placing after placing to keep the company going. We don’t have much money left and aren’t producing anything to keep paying salaries. It is rare that you get announcements from Oilex that are positive.

Optimistically, I don’t see Republic getting involved without some idea as to where this might be heading and it is possible that GSPC are keen to cut strings/losses or the Indian Government have finally decided to break the impasse and kick start Cambay drilling. I’m also hoping that the positive reflex in the SP on Friday provides signs of a positive news.

Any deal here that leads to a new arrangement or partner that puts money on the table to get drilling will lead to a rerate in SP northwards towards 1p. Any bad news will see a crash.

This is a roll of the dice and I’ve got everything crossed for some good news at last for those on the board who have been holding here for years and might recover a small amount of their losses.
