But why buy a companys stock that are at all time highs and trading at overpriced metrics. The US is terrifyingly over valued, there is a lot of pain waiting there.

I've moved to a sunny climate, I get paid more, have a spacious apartment with a pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, tennis court, badminton courts, basketball courts and karaoke room if that's to your liking, payed for by the company, with a maid. My kids get a private education at a prestigious school with better opportunities than I could dream of. I can see a doctor by walking in, public transport is a dream and I eat out most days.

I traded that for a mortgage on a 3 bed semi-detached in the south with none of the above, (which someone else pays for now). Also formally being on a terrible wage in a UK public institution with very little saving and spending power. I'm watching the election where the choice is laughable. Brexit is done and there is still moaning about immigrants, war seems to be wanted and Europe is turning to the far right. . Yeah... If this is failed I'm all for failing. My biggest failing was I didn't do it 10 years ago.
