One thing last week that keeping my head when all around are panicking served me very well.
Yes, I was concerned for both the Ukrainian people and my investment, and It would be great to see an immediate end to this conflict.
But not panicking meant i significantly increased my holding instead of selling.
I truly feel for those that were panicked on here into selling and hope they get back o the train before it leaves the station.

Putin is looking for a way out. Things aren't going to plan. The nuke thing is to give more leverage at talks.
He knows he needs a deal.

Unusually i think the winds were blowing from the south east. However, you wouldn't really rely on your medium term CFD predictions if you were to deliberately nuke somebody upwind of the prevailing winds.

I've always felt rather sorry for Russia's position when it comes to nuclear threats to the west. They opt for an attack on any part of Europe, where does the airborne radiation get blown to?

Looks like the interested parties are Russian, Chinese, and Japanese. The Chinese are not even recognising Russian wrongdoing.
I admit, it makes things much more uncertain, but you appear to have an insiders view! Maybe your language should be less definitive, although I'm hoping fearful P.Is' have learnt a lesson last week.

I feel the struggle to contain the internal unrest in Russia over the last few years has pushed VP toward trying to galvanise the country and strengthen nationalism by cultivating a common enemy that he has some chance of beating in any conflict. Problem is, he is only pandering to the old and the gullible within his own country. The "good old days" were not the good old days.
I must admit, that I did not take the issue that seriously, as it's very hard to believe the western media that lie and distort so often. For once, their hyperbole actually turned out to be fairly accurate!!! To counter that, the posters on here spreading fear and lies, still always turn out to be exactly what they seem! Big lesson learnt, I should have gone in even heavier this week:-)
