The first difference is Strukov has always been associated with dodgy practices , he currently has a court case going on where he only paid a supplier half its expected money, I was looking at some articles today and one was saying that Strukov could flee Russia as he owes so much to so many. ( I'll dig out the articles ). Now Sudarikov seems to have a cleaner bill of health. I've been trying to find out what link Anatoly Goncharov has to Sudarikov and Region.

@Redinjun: Pavel has been told there will be a trial date possibly May, in the meantime on the 23rd this wednesday the first stages of laying out the prosecutions case will kick off. So far Pavel will have been locked up come May 17 months . That counts as 25 months all ready in Jail taken into account; as you get 1.5 days for eacg day clinked up. I really hope there's a push at the agm to wait and reappoint him if found innocent, I would have thought a guilty charge would bar him from the BoD but surely not as manager of the operating side of things. Of course Hamro and Pavel might not want anything to do with Russian investment ever again. Personally I would love to see them back at the helm and finally take this SP to £1.

Like me relief worker. still holding 1.7 m shares and could also have sold at 40p but greed and the chatter of dividends being paid and an even higher share price got the better of me. Howver the thing that really torpedoed POG was the board room take over of 2020's AGM. That really started the decline. Of course many here were for the strukov takeover saying he would prove far more beneficial to the share older that the two founders of POG. I have fought a long and lonely battle defending these two but I think I have been right all along. This share price started to decline long before the invasion of Ukraine with a fall in gold production output and to be fair a decline in the gold price. But gold still remained at a fantastic profitable level as this share declined

It's gonna fly, bagger bagger, its taking off, that's all the sales now. big buys late gonna explode tomorrow. etc . FFS the share price has sunk consistently since the invasion and it was sinking before. No one has any clue .

We now await 8am and see if POG drops below 1p. All week long we've heard its going to fly with all silly estimates yet not one optimist has been correct. We scratch our heads go through all the fundamentals and come up with reasons why it shouldn't be so low but sadly POG didn't get the memo and continues to disappear up its own back side. It was in intensive care last Friday, how much more can it take. The long term holders have been robbed. I warrant Peter Hambro regrets ever investing in Russia.

I was very down earlier when not having been on line for several hours then seeing another ****ing drop.
Anyhow I'm hoping that if peace comes Putin will be very contrite hoping to get things back to normal so therefore will play a very straight bat. But hey what do I know

Actually that's incorrect, there was a hearing last week with a possible trial date in May 2022. He's been banged up for well over a year but if found guilty each day in the chokey counts as 1.5 days. His charge is now that of charging over the market price , That would mean most UK estate agents would be in the clink. But its obviously seen as selling to himself. However all balances and checks were in place when the transaction took place

Yes you did coin that phrase and yes Pavel is still in the chokey and he is up before ???? next Wednesday but the old soviets do like to chop and change with the dates. Of course if strukov men Kharin and Akimov the chair of Gazprom Bank signed the documents that triggered the incarceration and raft of charges against Pavel . which by the way have all been dropped to a lesser charge ; then with Konstantin being forced to sell his 29% at a great loss than maybe no one will bribe the judge this time. If Pavel is released I can see him back at POG depending of course on the new biggest share holder.
