Interim Results Announcement 1/9/202221 Aug 2021 15:53
Well I know we always say the next set of results are the most important but I feel with these its going to be the first real indicator of where POG is heading. If they are poor with no excuses then I would say driving the company down in readiness for a take over bid is in the offing. But as far as I can grasp things, Strukov would still have to pay the shareholder what he paid for the Bonum shares. I've heard he paid a premium for those but if that is the case I'm not sure that value is official or not Of course if it still qualifies then at least we'll have a parachute out with a higher share price than at present. Again if all of that is correct then no matter how low the share price can be manipulated down it doesn't matter as the bonum price will still have to be paid to the shareholder. So in a way Strukov is snookered
I'm not aware of the rules of a take over other than once 30% is reached a mandatory offer has to be made , so by that I would imagine USG (strukov) can officially own anymore. But say a take over offer is launched do all share holders vote and that majoity decision is binding on everyone? Can someone enlighten me.
Now of course if the interim results are good then hopefully the SP will rise and that may dispel cocerns about Strukov for people like me, However saying that there is still the matter of our 29.9% IRC stake which has all gone very quiet indeed. If that still goes ahead despite a good interim result it will leave a very bad taste.
Finally Pavel has been told he is to be incarcerated now until the end of November and he can be detained without trial for up to 18 months. I hear his lawyers have sworn testimony from the real estate agent who sold the property in question; that the price was realistic,
It seems reasonable to me that there is really no case against Pavel as if there was it would have gone to trial by now., so we have a detaining exercise to keep him out of the way. Who knows, but I do keep hearing these funny voices.
