Tough for explorers there especially with the additional processing rules they were talking about to stop the black market in ore.

Shortcutting it all, the Chinese seem to have decided to try and over produce but give price guarantees on offtakes - floor price.

Two good reasons to have a JV with a Chinese company and one which will be producing batteries. Also we are lucky that Hainan is going to produce lower quality third world type batteries not squeezing into the West EV market.

In the cities of Asia especially hot countries small electric machines are cheaper to operate than piston engine machines, just batteries need to be cheaper and a recycling market established. Likely it will be a bank of batteries on solar charges powering tuk tuk style delivery vehicles and taxis. Already big sellers.

As most of us know already but the press seem to either forget or fail to print for increased drama.

Regulations have been tightening up across all of Africa for many years, to reduce exploitation, increase revenue and move towards more sustainable mining.

ECOWAS is no different and here is an example from 2019 before Goita was in power, nothing to do with Russia and the other tosh in the press:

Painless, he does. Very early on he emphasised the importance of the team he selected outside of himself and Steve and laboured on their experience in Mali and West Africa. We can see that importance coming through now.

He has been so correct it is untrue, with his Lithium price predictions, which early on we thought high, later on thought low but he was bang on. His geology judgement on old reports said his suspicions before he started drilling and they proved right after drilling and his way of working with Mali.

So far very impressive. Also I am pleased we are working with a Chinese company to glad we didn't work with a Canadian company.
