Yes Elcobble, however as the tonnages get higher Capex comes down and potential to invest in extra bits and pieces can bring Opex down too.

I believe those scanners and pneumatic systems placed in front of the plant removing some waste can increase plant efficiency.

However that stuff is all for later all that matters currently is it works and keeps working properly.

Rory it is possible, and in one of the videos Bernard said that the haulage was lower than they placed in the figures.

Furthermore due to the low lithium price Pilbara Minerals has found cost cutting measures on their plant in a number of areas, later on it will be interesting to hear if any of those or similar can be utilised by Kodal.

The quality of this board is shown in all of the answers in the last thread, it is a useful and helpful place to be.

The plant working in that upper tonnage range consistently at present is all that is important.

Really this is a chat board bringing facts and figures together and discussing them.

The idea being 50 sets of eyes are less likely to miss something than one.

In the downtime a bit of banter as investing is boring at times.

Inside information etc is not anything that a serious investor would ever ask as it is playground talk.

Furthermore everyone these days are now wise to trolls, asking everyone to run around for them, also supposedly having read these boards for a long time, but we have a large number of good posters on here who have each done certain areas to death already. Yet a troll digs them all up again, pretends they don't know things then as posts progress revert back to previous troll posts under different names.

I suggest you put the effort in yourself if you truly are invested.

Exactly the plant producing between those upper figures and the 7.5m changing hands is celebration time.

If anxious about that I wouldn't be invested.

Chef, cheers, very simply Bernard said that they indicated that they would be buying in, therefore we should assume they will take their full stake.

However if you have been following this, you will have read that most of the mining code changes and other information I have gleaned from reading the other companies in Mali and their RNS, news releases and quotes from what various others in Mali have said.

A common theme is they have shown interest in every company moving onto the 2023 code.

Personally I agree with what you said, if you read my post again, I don't think that they can afford to buy into all of the 2023 code companies and I can't imagine they would borrow money for this purpose either.

In short I don't think the government taking their full entitlement is a foregone conclusion.

Onlyking, the offices were closed. It is why they set up the legal entity, deemed written in trust.

However I think what threw people was that at each presentation and other release, Bernard kept saying that there was no issue with the licence transferring, they had been reassured by the government etc. It probably would have been better to say it was simply shut.

The MOU confused me, because I thought that was as much work for the mining office as issuing the transferred licence. But not after I saw the 12 month condition on the government.

Other companies were being issued with MOUs too which was plain odd.

However I think when the government transfers/updates them all they will have a large choice of who to invest in and who to leave alone.

It will be interesting to see if they will go big with a lot of eggs in some baskets such as Barrick and Ganfeng or miss those and invest in a lot of small/medium companies.

Glenogle, yes we were aware of it from 2023.

However late 2024 they signed a MOU.

Then just a couple of months ago I found a time condition placed on the government to state whether they were going to buy in or not within 12 months of the transfer of a licence.

Which is why it was irritating people constantly posting that the licence was important before the plant is operational.

The plant works, just not yet at full speed so it will be interesting to see what comes first.

Some past posters on this board had some unfathomable target dates.

I don't think there is a glimmer of a breakout - don't see it.

They are just working on the plant incremental increases and speed and hopefully increasing output.

Very exciting for the future but dull as ditchwater until we get the big RNS.

Re licence transfer don't forget the 12 months clause on the government, they may wait until the plant produces properly so I would not panic on that.

Stop and think a bit wider.

We are just under 650 dollars all in to produce.

How many more mines operating in the world are at that price and what is their total tonnage?

I think it is a percentage well under current regular lithium demand.

Now what is the next raft of lithium cost? 100-150 dollars more?

Companies currently established and producing lithium products need lithium and as their offtakes come up for renewal with processors they are going to target low cost extraction.

Those processors also do offtakes with mines, Hainan with us.

That cost difference between the lowest cost producers and the average I believe will bring additional value. Whether the value is going to come through as floor prices, offtakes or buy outs.

In our case at some point I think it will be a buyout.

If it was to me on the value of one Mali goldmine, it was the calculation on one mine within a deal.

However as I wrote in my post, there is a massive difference between a working goldmine and a maiden value, that said the maiden value of Nielle may be higher than many people are expecting.
