On the positive side it is always good knowledge for future investing. On another share on another day a ship will be leaving port and a transit time may be quoted, if it a long journey, 60 plus days we know the score where other shareholders are unlikely to have the same information. Could be room for a little profit.

Mikb, I would not say a lot was made of the shipping time it was just part of an RNS.

The plant arriving at the dock early warranted a photo.

However from what I have read about freight times it was definitely wrong to quote a transit time, to explain the quicker transit time he should have given a percentage reduction.

Clapa, I think so too. Mainly due to security. But we will see.

The equipment landing on site is not urgent at present, just nice to see - a feelgood factor for us.

Personally as soon as I read that they either anchor if there is a storm predicted on route, or alternatively plan a route around a storm and knowing how slow ships are, I gave up.

David the RNS was misleading, two transit times were given, 21 and 26 days.

But if you punch in cargo ships into the shipping calculators on the freight sites you don't get a transit time. You get a range of days, underlying those differences are wave height, wind and swell to name just three.

The official update is late July in a previous RNS.

Matt, I thought Friday or before. Looking at variables of other journeys of a similar time. I wonder with freight, if the wind is against them do they just continue and burn the fuel and take the extra cost on the chin, or do they drop anchor and wait, is it more profitable to do that?

Sods law the wind will be difficult when visibility is good etc.

Large expanses of brown not great for cameras either.

Should operate better when there is a plant on site to focus on. If they are fussy a big white board carried out to set white balance from is a good idea, then the colours are correct in the sequence, but they are miners not photographers.

BFD, yes I think your estimate will be close, stopping to cool brakes off and doing the journey in sections with their escorts.

At least it is a good road and once out of the city looks fairly straight.
