Yes Paul, that is why Ganfeng, BP, Shell etc never do it.
No explorer would ever deal with them again.
For anyone nervous about Leo Lithium, as someone else said it is a totally different scenario, however the bulk of the money they are repaying, around 50m dollars are the Mali tax incentives given to them from an earlier mining code.
We don't have any tax incentives from the Mali government.
We can expect a Hainan attempt to buy us out somewhere along the line maybe when the plant produces, who would not give it a go when lithium prices are not as sky high, but if Bernard would accept or not is a different matter.
