The simple truth here is nobody knows and the market dislikes uncertainty the most.
The factors throwing uncertainty into the mix are that the firm said that the mining office said, rather than a direct quote from the office.
The government is about to get all of it's tax incentives back from Leo, around 50m dollars plus a fine, not sure what the fine will be maybe 10m dollars max. Not sure if there is anything else to pay re their involvement in the Morila gold mine. So to cut a long story short they will have cash.
Will the government buy into Goulamina, Kodal, both or neither?
Then the lithium price has dropped from the crazy highs, so will this deter the government and may they prefer investing in gold?
Just a lot of uncertainty, none of it terrible just hard at the moment to second guess.
