Accion, Mafele quest transferred and I think Banbura they were called paid, they had to be paid within days, and we received some small monies. However conditions were set for N'kemene Quest which, dependent upon what happens to Leo Lithium may not be met.
Unless you know different?
Stevo, it would fill a lull.
I have a feeling that Bougouni is obviously filling his time but I think the phone will be ringing off the hook for West Bougouni, still nothing is resolved at Leo Lithium, we could see a different deal for West Bougouni.
Leo Lithium are removed from ASX in 4 days.
Bearing in mind that the Mali government is clamping down on areas issued with licences but not progressing I don't think that Kodal can wait for Leo.
There could be news in this area first then gold, but until it happens who knows.
LSE look like they are looking for these multiple identies and dealing with them quickly with no input from us.
Good to see, it will improve all of the chat boards.
Iveroche, Burkina Faso has a war, so the article is not great combining those two countries. Plus Burkina is not following Mali, Mali, Niger and Burkina are trying to stop the protection that borders have given terrorist organisations when the French and co were trying to surpress them. Their joint forces will continue hunting terrorist over the borders, they won't stop.
But the North of Mali has a tiny population where the troubles have been and Mali groups in the north have been fighting each other, two brothers from to small groups squabbling form two of these groups. They are concerned the small groups squabbling may reach out to the wrong people for help, not that the small groups are an issue themselves.
However this is common across the globe, Indonesia, Borneo, Philippines, Libya, Syria, Turkey are all trying to prevent them settling in their areas.
Also it is commonly reported that Niger has issues, but it was Niger who kept rescuing Nigeria.
So ECOWAS is going to let the three continue with this security plan and they are hoping that Niger helps Nigeria get out of their terrorist issue as they did in the past as it was more successful than the UN.
Burkina Faso war attracts all the wrong types, gun smugglers etc it is just how war is. Same in the Ukraine, British military stuff appearing around the world from the Ukraine.
As far as mining in Mali goes it doesn't miss a beat and doesn't affect it.
The Ukraine war and other political situations are more of a risk, but if all that kicks off a Mali investment would be the least of our worries.
Here is an article from September 2023 which shows the extent of their potential problems, they had tax breaks as the government was encouraging mining at the time of Leo's outset.
The last paragraphs show the size of the potential liability without a fine or anything if Morila goldmine is connected to them.

Music, they just maintain liquidity in the market, who is going to easily part with their shares now? A (relatively) small number of shares will move as always, but these are sticky more as if institutions had chunks but just sticky private investors.
It will have to make a big jump to get others to change hands.
A wide spread with no RNS shows when they are struggling.
Agree with ivenoidea,
However the shareholders are in a horrible place, feel for them but not the CEO.
Until proven otherwise everything looks like board errors.
You may remember me asking either late 2022 or early 2023 where all the info and approvals was for direct shipped ore at Leo Lithium and how long they had been planning that. I couldn't find anything environmental changes etc that you would expect when going to stack and handle a material in a different way on a mine site.
Look at the changes and design alterations we had to do to store tailings (midlings) to go back into the flotation plant once constructed, it was a massive change.
Making people nervous?
Mali are fed up with their cross border attacks they are setting up a joint force which prevents jihadists having the safety of a border to run and hide over.
Generally terrorists just alter tactics - it may work, but I think the attacks will change in nature. Look at the IRA small terrorist force against a full army for decades, terrorists hide amongst populations that is their nature.
When there is a war in a neighbouring country there is always a nuisance to neighbouring countries it can't be avoided, where there is war there is money. I think they just have to learn to live with it until the war ends.
Hadrian, Nielle was within weeks of a maiden value.
Initial plans were to sell it to fund lithium, that changed when they were swamped with lithium offers.
We wait to see what the Nielle plan will be, but it is not years away.
Fatou according to Bernard is big and will take longer to define.
Excellent Daz, the Goldfields have been sidelined long enough for lithium
It would be good if gold presentations and updates were separate, plus interviews with a bit of space between lithium updates, it looks like that may happen but we will see.
Exciting times, it is going to crank up especially from July onwards.
Cheers no idea, I knew what date they were up to 31st March, but not how long afterwards they took to appear. You will be correct the presentation said April for an update.
I wonder if they will keep gold separate.
Ejt, annual report for year end 31st March 2024.
It will also be the first updated values post BFS.
I would imagine unless they have to, they will save as much information as possible for the report and subsequent interviews. I am not sure what date that landed last year.
