Nice one Chris. Always nice to know a little history. Thanks
Yeah it's plainly obvious there are not many shares available. Has anyone worked out the % available though? Anyone with long term knowledge here fancy putting up key point summary for the company? Positives as well as negatives to keep a balanced view.
Certainly is. Not a lot of free shares so it moves quickly. Also check out ctp, also under radar, small free float and confirmed chart breakout with trading update yesterday and over £1.175 million bought by bod this year so far.
Funny how news drops in when a sp is hitting support. Double bottom in this case. Triple bagger plus for everyone who bought in at bottom if new broker target of 75p comes.
Yep. There are a hell of a lot of signals to buy here now.
"Significantly better" than market expectations. Those two words are what the market will get excited about.
I liked this bit: "Operating cash generation in the period was significantly better than market expectations, facilitating a continued reduction in the Company's net debt." I actually missed the RNS this morning after glancing though this morning's RNS'. http://www.investegate.co.uk/castleton-technology--ctp-/rns/trading-update/201704050700075932B/ Once again LSE missing of crucial info. Yes, it's no wonder the bod have bought in region of £1 million in last 3 months.
A funny feeling there is going to be some delayed reported trade later.
Well, was hoping for a lower price but too good looking to not be in any more. Confirmation of reversal of downward trend with breakout of trend channel and also reversal of T-line. Let's hope those small contracts keep running in unnoticed while we wait for the biggies!
I was just about to say "Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is". Same thing I suppose. I'll look into ABC. thanks for tip. Atb
I see u are in pets. If you want to see IC review of it email me xdoctorevilx at hotmail co uk I have not posted link or review as it's negative. Though i did note the bod buys recently. atb
Lastly, never heard of 4-traders before but checked it out and it's ok! Thanks for mentioning it. Here is their link for brsn. http://m.4-traders.com/BERENDSEN-PLC-4005426/ Note near bottom it gives their short medium long term views and resistance support levels. One of which ties in with the one I suggested along with the broker. So, no, the figure was not pulled out of my @@@@.
Sorry, last post. Not sure what charts you use so here is a quick chart of mine. Hope it helps. http://www.chartupload.com/viewer.php?file=27307317812833684762.png
Technically, yes there is minor support around that level of 718p. But he next level of decent support is the top of May 2007 peak. What there is now though, at this current price is the bottom of a downward trend line. I would expect a bounce tomorrow. I will not post on here now for a while unless it is a reply to someone or if someone is outright rude to me. All the best to you in you investments.
jackass comments like "Wow, what a day - 3.2M bought and ONLY 1.4M sold. I see a bounce coming tomorrow :)." lol my correction!
Fool It is common knowledge that the trades reported are done by computers and the actual trades are not correct due to some trades being late reported. Hence the large amounts of trades reported after the market has closed. What you can rely on is the sp to be accurate at the end of the day and jackass comments like "31 December 2016 was £429.4 million". atb
Obviously you are listening. I do not believe some posts on here will actually influence a sp. But I do believe these chat boards are for PI's to talk about different shares whether it is positive or negative. It is actually called a balanced view. atb
Actually it was 4 posts! As for a fool, good luck with you investment here. Let's see who is going to be correct. For the record, I am not short on this company or never will be or have ever been on any company. I totally disagree with shorting companies. As for working for RBC, that is not the case and LSE here know who I am and know I do not. May I suggest you try to be a nicer person? atb
So, now that you have insulted me I think its fair for the gloves to come off. BRSN has reduced their forecast for profit of 2017 "Adjusted operating profit for 2017 expected to be approximately £150 million" Investment has tripled to £150m for next 3 years. Net debt is at 31 December 2016 was £429.4 million, an increase of £44.4m due to the exchange rate. So, to sum up, the company is in debt, which could increase if the exchange rate decreases and reports suggest it will. The company has dropped it's forecast for profit in the coming year to £150m but has increased the amount it is going to invest to £150m A YEAR FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS. So basically a debt that is likely to increase and a decreased profit that will all be spent on investment for the next 3 years. And all you are bothered about is a dividend payment and how I have come up with a support level of 660! I didn't want to say this, but that support level is just a support level. £ years of having to over invest and you could well be seeing 220p. atb
FTSEmajor - really is that your name? you're a serious investor? At least I have a little fun with my name and not pretend i'm a major! I suggest you re-read RBC report and digest. "RBC pointed out that when it turned positive on the stock two months ago, it thought forecasts were largely underpinned and that the UK business was in the price for nothing, assuming an extra £50m capex was required to fix the underinvestment issues. However, since then its earnings per share estimates have come down a further 17% for 2018E, while plant capex will be around £300m more than it had expected over the next three years. "The scale of this investment, and the scale of people change within a business, where local relationships are key, means we now believe the risk profile is significantly increased, whilst the company will be cash flow negative for the next three years." RBC said it is now 4% below the company's £150m profit guidance for 2017, as it reckons the second half will be a stretch after what will be a very weak first half."
