Fantastic turnaround on the last quarter although somewhat expected with cash on the balance sheet jumping by more than 50% to £6 million! Much of that was expected as they had a build up inventory through last quarter and payments of large creditors in the first week of Q4.

- Second best quarterly operational performance for FY2025

- Combined operating profit: £1.67 million and PBIT: £766,000

- Ghana Q4 operating profit £1.05 million

- South African operation achieved its strongest operating profit performance for the financial year

- South Africa Q4 operating profit £618,000 and a PBIT of £602,000

Group Cash Balances

Cash balances in the group increased to £6,040,000 at the end of Q4 (FY Q4 2024 - £3,800,000) due to turnaround of high inventory levels in Ghana at the end of FY 2024 and the timing of payments of large creditors which took place in the first week of July 2025.

The cash balances will be used to manage working capital requirements, capital expenditure and to pay the dividend which amounts to £150,000.

This comes in the context of the US Department of Defence ("US DoD") commitment to invest US$400 million through a landmark public-private agreement with MP Materials, a US rare earths mining company, to strengthen the US domestic rare earths supply chain and to reduce reliance on China. US DoD has become MP Materials' largest shareholder, and the partnership includes a long-term purchase agreement establishing a US$110 per kg floor price for Neodymium-Praseodymium Oxide, thus underlining the US Government's tangible commitment towards supporting sustainable and independent rare earths supply.
