Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I still think we are invested at a very early stage, for this region. GGP showed that Havieron was just waiting for us, at depth, as Hydrogen says. Until recently, other companies moved on from our part of the region, concentrating on shallow targets.
But now.....talk about being in the right place, at the right time! Also, with the right team!
The info. on the big expansion of the camp was great, Paddy.
I think it can only mean big expansion of our projects, those within a few kilometers, for easy access.
On Tuesday 30th., no doubt NCM will collate information for the Quarterly Report, so next week could bring not just a new page but a new chapter.
Does anyone (Chartbuster, perhaps) know the requirements, in WA, for the decline application.
I would expect a site plan to be lodged, showing the proposed position of the portal, unless that is classed as commercially sensitive, at this stage.
Otherwise, such an expansion of the camp suggests a growth phase, at or near Havieron, which will make future Paddysats absolutely unmissable.
The cross-sections, of recent intercepts, have started to show the basement rock at approx. -200 metres and the ground level at approx. +200 metres.
So I suppose that the survey has been based on altimetry and the desert at Havieron is approx. 200 metres above sea level.
Alternatively, perhaps there is a shallower deposit elsewhere at Havieron, with basement of approx. 200 metres, instead of 400+ metres.
Has a recent discovery, yet to be announced, been used as the base level, therefore showing the SE deposit approx. 200 metres deeper?

He mentions the brecchia and the possibility of block caving.
The boundaries between the sulphide areas and the adjoining brecchia represent thousands of square metres, at Havieron.
So, if NCM were to mine the high-grades zones first, by stoping, as has been suggested, then perhaps the stopes could later give them access to the sides of the brecchia, over thousands of square metres.
Potentially, there could be a big saving in Capex, compared to a deposit where block-caving was used, but no convenient stopes nearby.
Do we have a mining engineer on this board ?

I was pleased that NCM referred to a crescent shape, this time, instead of a bow or arcuate deposit.
As the mineralisation has "fattened out" on their plans and your overlays, it was looking less and less like a bow.
Perhaps they will soon be using other words to describe it !
Oh, that does sound good, Hydrogen, when you say it could be deeper in the NW end !
Havieron showed us a special part of the ore body in the SE. That is still open at depth, so we can hope that the Growth Phase brings us much more, in three dimensions, to compound the size of this find.
I am wondering if we may get an exploration update, from NCM, before the next Quarterly is due. A while ago, there was the possibility, mentioned, of a new type of mineralisation. Was that linked to Hydrogen's model and the drilling of several holes in the SW ?
The rapid assaying of HAD 066 made me look on it as a pathfinder hole, to confirm the continuity of mineralisation in one of the arms, towards the NW.
When you have time, please look at the new cross-sections of Havieron, which have been posted today. See the width of the brecchia around and also below the high-grade.
There are indications of the bulbous shape starting to emerge, as seen on the big sceen in Callum's intervew.
Looking very, very good.

Thanks for reminding me that Black Hills was so near surface.
I read recently that Telfer had weathered ore in places, when first mined, and see how that has been developed.
The nuggets found at Black Hills did not fall from the sky and Saddle Reef was named for a reason. So, although Black hills may no longer have first priority in GGP's exploration programme, it is still a tempting target.

Fortunately, NCM are working very hard, in order to tell us if Havieron is Tier 1 or Tier 2.
- 9 rigs, working 24/7, 80km. of drilling planned.
I know which classification I think it will be.
Let' see what NCM can tell us about grades and depths, in the NW, when they provide their Exploration Report.

Yes, I am sure that there are hundreds of smaller investors out there, some following the announcements and others not.
Some will have shares tucked away and only check them occasionally, if at all.
I do think the fantastic share price perfomance has discouraged selling except, perhaps for top-slicing.
Gervaise recently said we were just at the beginning of Havieron.
Institutions will think they are buying in at an early stage, if they pile in when the first MRE is announced.
We will know that we were in at a very early stage.
I agree with you, TakingMyTime.
We do not know how many would oppose an Offer for our Company, but there seems to be a large proportion of shareholders here today.
It means that every piece of research has been closely followed. Also, all of Gervaise and Callum's interviews, I expect.
I think the team has a very loyal following.
