0.5% in Israel and closed.

Where Lockdowns are Concerned

If you are open and have to close, it affects you and your share price.

If you are closed already, it doesn't affect you and nor should it affect your share price.

Up to 440p this morning and looking good. Back down to 425p on very little volume. Further reduction is share price this afternoon coinciding with what was the predicted and anticipated announcement of a Scottish National lockdown announced and England just about to follow.

Its a share that just keeps presenting opportunity and we all know how MCRO surprised the market last time without vaccinations and mass roll-out which are now occurring.

Goldman Sachs 650p price target only a few weeks back as well.

Its starting imvho to look extremely cheap again.

Lockdowns are really important for curtailing the spread of the virus but Mass Vaccinations are ultimately the way out of this. We didn't have this previously. We do now.

The FT was just saying last night that the Israeli vaccination program is in overdrive with a tenth of all Israelis and including a quarter of those above 60 having already received the vaccine. It is Netanyahu's personal mission.

I have to admit that I was slightly surprised at the mid afternoon dip today on the Scottish lockdown news as it had actually been widely predicted all of yesterday in the media and also this morning and it didn't prevent the CINE share price rising this morning.

For Cineworld, on an all cinemas closed basis, the net impact of news today should have been at worse neutral, if not more slanted to the positive side. Sorry for actually trying to be rationale when the share price is (being made to look) slightly irrational.

With any luck we get a full national lockdown in England to add to that of Scotland announced earlier.

You can't as a cinema operator lose any money if you have all your cinemas shut and are not any at generating any money at his time.

Suppress the spread of the virus quicker with lockdowns and zap it from the other side with mass vaccination programs which have just started and you thereby bring down both the infection rate and death rate, and differently this time in a way whereby it should not rise again.

Normality then returns and the cinemas get to reopen.

That is where we actually wish to be.

Fully closed we are and waiting for control of and zapping of the virus through tiers, lockdowns and vaccination.

Whilst we await the Tier system, lockdowns and vaccines to work their magic.

The cumulation of all of these working together whilst we are fully closed, and the more the merrier, is actually what we want right now.

Not against us - as there is nil impact on what is already nil revenue.

Control and eradicate the virus with lockdowns and vaccines and we get to reopen sooner.

What it doies is plays right into our hands in controlling the virus and letting the vaccines roll out and take effect. It actually hits it from both sides. Control it and negate any potential effects.

Lockdowns actually help us to control the virus whilst vaccines and mass vaccination programs continue to ramp up and stamp out any risk to the vulnerable.

It would be completely different if we were open. But we are not. All cinemas are closed and this is exactly how we want things to play out. Ideally we lockdown the full of the UK and get those jabs into the arms ramped up and noticeably working in reducing the number of infections and the death rate.

When you are closed these things actually work to your advantage and present buy the dips scenarios.

When Combined with

Vaccination Approvals and rollouts
Followed by Mass Roll Outs and Vaccination programmes.

Why? Because the first two serve to get the Virus under control whilst vaccine approvals, roll-outs and scaling up with mass vaccinations should immunise the highest risk groups.

The combination of both return us back to normality and we can turn the keys in the door for reopening.

Scotland now into National lockdown from tonight.
