yeah,i did have $£ 60 mill in the bank six months ago,doubt if theyve spent it all since then..

watched cnr go from half a p to 11p on just drills in six months....bem,sol,rrr,her,shanta,all did similar and there were even better ones than that but i cant remember them all..ha ha. mini bull market....

ime not saying that,ime saying if the financials which are first out of the recession continue (and they have if you look at cdu's chart,its the banks that av driven that chart)...then the miners will follow..... banks 1st...miners 2nd....

this is a financial crisis,banks first in and first out....miners just never recovered in the first place,besides 2010,but that was just a bounce from the 1st recession... why dont we all sell up and buy mosb shares like fifi did at 38p..lol..

thats the problem,ime not in the big financials that have all gone up in the last six months,miners av gone in the opposite direction,even the big ones...everythings out of sych.... you used to be able to work it out,not any more...even all the hedge funds got it wrong...

that march 2012 peak looked quite tasty,what initiated that,qe3 or something else..lol.. yeah,funding?think eveyone is releasing that now,if you havent any and are looking az if they need it,then you know the direction of the graph and its not north.....still doesnt add up though,some comps have plenty and still head south,a cameroon oily comes to mind and a goldy ime in?........... over cooked is an understatement,more like vapourised with a death star laser beam thingy..lol... still think this kicking the can us debt/tax breaks is the final hurdle,just turn on any biz channel,thatz alll they go on about..........self fullfilling prophecy if nowts done soon.imo.... bwtfdik..... probably all be hunky dory next year and we'll all be wondering wot all the fuss was about....#.#.#.#.#.....

propertys cheap where i am,50g for a terraced and about 100g for a semi.......varies with areas..

thats the only way to do it now,sell on any rise and buy em back in a month or so,if its your long play and you know how your sp reacts to any news or just the ups and downs inbetween.......but if you work full time,then its difficult..lol..its probably not the best way to make money but in the current climate,what other choice av we?. nottingham?bit of a party place to live they say....women to man ratio 3/1...or is that a rumour ha ha....

but the markets will come back,so i can wait till the cows come home so ta speak....

to lazy to do the propert thing,but a live 30 miles from lincoln,dont know how much a 4bed terraced is there,but a young chap from work goes to stop at a univ bedsit,4bedshe sez they charge £75 pw x4,thats £1200 a month..lol..daylight robbery..........believe it or not i live about 35 houses away from a colege,not the best place to live quietness wise..lol........... got a comp pension so stuck with it till 55 (minimum)......if you think the markets are heading south again?then i know what ide do.... its been a good year for me personally,last year was a killler 4me,mainly with my long plays... what we need on here is an economist guru to help us out....anybody know of one..lol....

dunno,still early days,so making any decisions now is pointless,just gotta see how it pans out,after 2008 and last year ide play it safe if i thought things wud get worse,but like you,az an whole ime a long term invester,i or i like to think i am..but i wouldnt want to lose a big % like i did in 2011.......... gold to me is a safer bet no matter which way things go........ i want to take early retirement in 4 years time so i havent the luxury of time like you and many others..lol..

its priced in alright,for a resolve,look at the banks,all of them are up big time in the last six months,so the next few weeks are make and break,starting with the 1st..but your right,the big ftse hitters will bear the brunt first,so we'll av time to get out if need be....not being pssemistic az ime 90% in aim and at the end of the day i/you just want to see all this debt crap sorted out or swept under the carpet..lol..its bin dragging on to long!!!!!!!!!!!////.................

the thing is,other than them 3...aim is more complicated than we know,politics,finance,pyshcology,herd,p&d,charts,dips n troughs?the list is endless,trying to work it all out and peice it all togethere is ni on impossible?.... like this f.cliff,how are the markets going to take it if the can is kicked don that road,is it going to be another southern europe,but much worse or is it already priced in..... what should we do?buy more or sell and sit on cash....?.....
