Would be interested to know the insight. Surely the last 14 years can only be judged as an abject failure by everybody associated with the management of the company. Sitting on one of the richest ore resources on the continent and to date have produced diddly squat.

Comparing time and price with yesterday, it looks as though those big ones, including the 321k, are sells. So we have large scale dumping, which presumably contributed to the continuing drop today. Bottom line is, with all of this hidden trading, it is impossible for the average Joe to make a call; it’s a rollercoaster ride.

Much as I appreciate the optimistic outlook and share holding analysis, it is a fact that the SP is now one third of the price at the very start of this year. Mistral roll out will give us a big lift I’m sure, but it needs to be a three bagger for me, and I suspect, for many others. That doesn’t happen quickly. Other companies are not shy about publishing a ‘good news’ RNS, and despite all the good stuff on Twitter et al, the current IES management seem cautious about doing this. Current slide needs to be halted.

Sorry to labour the point, but share Buys today over 5,000,000. ( including the ever present Unknowns). Sales are under 500,000, so less than 10% of actual Buys. SP down 33%. What happened to the rules and conventions under which we invest and trade?

Good points 99, but one cannot downplay the significance of a 33% drop in SP on the back of a positive RNS and positive sales. This is being gamed. No wonder AIM is in decline.

I wonder whether the fall would have been greater if the RNS said that the EPC signing had NOT been signed. And BTW, these ‘Unknown’ Buys have become an unpleasant feature of this stock. Very unfair to the average punter, and I’ll be on my way when this bounces back a bit.

On the basis of Buy/Sell volume the SP fall is ridiculously harsh. MMs playing games.

Howard - look at the rise on JSE and ASX and you have your answer. The LSE purchasing action was played out between the previous RNS and today’s. Too much info in advance.

Last week’s was pretty terse (no questions allowed) but previous briefings by CC implied that although the company was heavily dependent on V price rise, it was able to survive in the short term (certainly until Q1 next year). V price for USA and EU has ticked up of course. Was it just me that misheard?
