RE: Appl hits 100 day low5 Nov 2018 21:16
Hi Herbie. Tbh, I thinlk you've missed the fact the correction has been going on for 5 weeks. So in effect, APPL wont drag the NQ down. The NQ is *already* down. It's sank 800 points from highs to lows. And ironically most of it had little to do with APPL at the time.....Im uncertain why e'one's focus is on APPL suddenly when its fundamentals were self evident for a long time (to some anyhow)
Also, if you had obsevred in past 2 wks, it isnt APPL that took NQ down It was AMZN. APPl had very little impact comparatively (less than 100 points if that) and in fact within minutes I went long on NQ the night APPl released their results as NQ bounced back up quickly and by the morning had recovered. It was AMZN that undid in a few hrs almost 2 days rally NOT APPL and as said, all these indices have already dropped and been correcting for over one month.
Secondly, if NQ goes down, you see Dow and SPX going down? Well, the point is again these indices have already dropped. This wont be a new thing. It's been ongoing for 5+ weeks.
Dow already lost over 4000 points when it hit lows last week and SPX had already lost 350 points.
Also, it wasnt any of these that led the correction. It was actually Russel so that neglected indice shd perhaps be paid more attention to....
Sorry but your post are abt events that have already and are already occurring and long been discussed here.....so I guess im a tad confused;)
In any case, for the time being I see the worst of the recent correction over for a wee while....we're back to start 2018.....so do be careful:)
