Cheque it out ......
Is something kooking? Difficult to ignore on today's menu{:-)
Dumbdog, Another point of view - Its been pushing 3 weeks since the good news added circa 10%, are MMs taking advantage of PI's who list 'sell' and 'buy' values for auto trades, by rolling SP to and fro, initiating business in order to fatten their trading wallets .... ? IMHO the undulating SP sticks until the MMs have enough for their annual Caribbean Cruise.
Today most. nay all my interests are in 'sell' mode,ie more than 2 x sells than buys[vol], so checked BBC News to check 'Put in' hadn't become more intrusive, yet. Sighs of relief! Then located a Pace share volume list - 3 trades today @1559hrs, 1600 and 1602 for 2 x 2m and one 2.5 dealt at 482 - 483 = £32m. Disconcerting to find such big offloads .... is this bad news or 'business'?
More confusingly, there was +10p INCREASE in SP between 2 and close!
Total shares dealt today +9.5m, but a total of 6.75m sold post 1400 this afternoon. Did anyone see big numbers sold, as there was no corresponding increase in trades[+700 before 2, and +800 later for +1500 at close]? A typo, an unlikely vote of no confidence in Mike Inglis return to the board[see RNS], or what ? NB I may have the 'labrador' put down {:-(, or blow my nose ... aaashoo! FTSE 67 points down on the day - Pace doesn't usually follow it. IMHO
Trying to make sense of a peculiarly adverse busy trading day with sales, double the buys. Inserted late, and after trading, three large recant trades [total 515k / £3.42m], is this a growing awareness of PIC's potential? My nose is 'twitching', I 'smell' good new's, and if I'm wrong, well 'hey man', I'm laguerre, not a labrador! DYOR tho' An outside element is the ebbing FTSE, 200 points down this month - the Ukraine stalemate/Put ins overbearing indecisiveness? Any advice, beyond the time honoured, 'if you're in a hole ........ '?
Marth1259hrs - Mena news, excellent find, shades of Time Warners '99 Contract. 'History could ......... ' I dare not say more. DYOR GLA 'Spat' - 'a ships Mate' comments Wiki 'P', was second in command to the Captain, with responsibilities which included the safety and security of the ship'! So 'mate', albeit in another context, is complimentary, well hardly derogatory, particularly in view of the original post! May I speak for everyone[Peers and Clergy excepted[:-)], in saying we're all 'Mates' here, in that we care for the 'safety and security of our good 'ship' PACE', and in the 'strange' environment of a 'chat board', where no one 'knows' anyone try, regardless of age, 'etc'., to remain 'friends', and really that goes for all chat notice boards, life's to short!
'Imagine high speed Internet access, video on demand, huge data volume, all through your TV without cables into your home? Pace using their set-top box as the nerve centre. are working with US networking giant, for this high-bandwidth wireless technology ..... with 20 megabits per second forecast. Pace leapt 34p to 257 - with '96 peak buyers in profit and later trough buyers gaining 900% in 18 months'. {Report dated 28 Oct 1999]. NB Two weeks later [19 Nov 99] with a Time Warner contract to supply 750k boxes, SP hit £5. Two and a half months later on 2 Feb 00, PIC was £8.34, and 3 weeks after that £10.625! .... I doubt history wilI repeat itself? GLA
Ain't it a 6u99er when no one listens .... been here since 3rd qtr '97 at 52p, and [profitably] at +£8! In and out since, not a big player, tho' still pleased its prospering yet again [fingers crossed] - hope you decided like me, to stay the course.
Visit MWC in Barcelona at BBC2 Iplayer, 1035am 1 Mar, for new Mobile tech and... 'amusing' Volvo finale input.
Hasty retraction - two Monday buyers at up to 15p,
Perhaps the ongoing wide 'spread' is 'No 3' - stalling the SP prior to 25 March 'buy back'/ Div balance pay out, is that legal?
TRK letter covering my 'paper' application recd this am., reads. 'no call for scaling excess applications, all applied for met', 'snail' mail beat my broker!
Number 64, tho' only 26 are identified, including 3 borderline deals + 4 'hiccups'?
Tho' not voiced here, there seems confusion about when the new shares will be available? As I see it - All down payments 'should' be held in a separate account, by the Broker handling the issue until the distribution is finalised. Once the distribution is known, the account is accessed by the Issue Broker and payments made. The shares are notified, priced on your account, and moneys if due, credited. How will I know? When the PRICE is shown on your account against the shares applied for, the shares are your's. My broker lists each deal I make separately, at present it shows the number applied for, but NO price, [or down payment sitting in my account].[:-) IMHO GLA
87.34% offer take up - reassuring to see widespread confidence in TRK. Hope its a positive omen that a 1/8th% offer .. is'1/8th%' short of a sell -out !
My request was also 'credited' .... but NOT £ebited! 1. non Crest final application date - 8th Jan. 2. accounts checked to find the number of 18p share 'entitlement's' declined. 3. if necessary, redistribution policy. 4. client debiting/refunding. IMHO.
Maybe, but there is an individual/ group with very strong and disproportionate [boring] interest in electric vehicles, why he/ they persist in expounding such views, on a TRK board is a mystery, apart that is from the 'brag' element, as one may own such a vehicle! Perhaps he/ she will read this and explain!!!
... Watt's in a Name? No, not a typo. A good name is a Powerful tool of communication. Ask 100 people what 'TOROTRAK' means, answer, 'dunno', a few Iberian holidaymakers adding 2+2, might suggest, 'Spanish Bulldozer', or 'Bull Ring Builder', and that' applies to other techno' titles, and were the words to be explained, would any be the wiser? Also, who in their right mind would launch a company on the Stock Market, whose name included reference to a 'Bull'. A 'Bear' - Yes. My name choice and/or company logo? The technology 'ticks' all the necessary boxes; increased power from large and small engines[possible lower road tax demand's], lower CO2 emission's, greater fuel economy[using less of our current finite fuel resource], efficient stop start momentum, all achieved by easily and less expensive add-on parts. My thought ... 'GREEN ENERGY TRANSMISSIONS IN TRANSPORT' .... Anagram 'GET IT' All just IMHO of course. Well that's my 'set of skittles', what's yours?
