Colin Bird Update for BZT9 May 2022 14:25
1) Hope- no news, nothing. '*supposedly* a large diamond drilling programme is ongoing, we havent had so much of a handheld assay. And its been alomst 6 months since the drill was 'mobilised'. I wonder how we can afford to do all these holes in Cyprus and Zambia when we are a cash poor company. That is a very long drilling campaign. You know how much it costs to keep a drill company mobilised for THIS long in the Namibian desert? Highly highly suspect.
2) Kanye (metalrock) a company where CB and his finance director at BZT were directors of, bought from a company that CB was a director of. No maiden drill. Despite being told it was drill ready when we took over. Still fumbling around
Of course, no conflict of interest. And as the BAG told us, 'Colin Bird in Botswana, working as hard as ever, and also making a cure for HIV and saving all the rhinos'
3) Zambia- stellar handheld copper results which I immedietaly flagged up as 'suspicious'....caused the SP to rocket and a nice little placing off the back of that- later lab results confirmed my suspicions. Never head a squeak from it again.
4) Mankayan- same old same old. I said it the original deal would not go through and I was right, and people here who said otherwise had to put their tails between their legs. Now Colin Bird likes to use Mankayan as a ramping tool. If its so lucrative- sell it and focus on Africa and cyprus
5) Argentina- we still have a concession there (I *think*)- nada happening
6) Cyprus- seems to be the only bona fide Colin Bird Bzt project. The rest seem more like ramping material.
