In Hope, nowhere close to even an inferred JORC. Yet Colin is applying for a mining license to make it seem like progress is being made. Thats not how things work in mining but CB uses any chance he can get to ramp like a used car salesman.

Mankayan is a long saga, someone posted in XTR that he is familiar with the area- the locals simply dont want mining there. This is common in corrupt countries- in Oz- they see the fruits of their mining income, in Philippines or DRC- they dont- so will fight against. The same guy also added that the locals are armed.

I dont believe Mankayan has any prospect beyond ramping material for Colin Bird

So all significantly down (and no, not because of the current bear market- was down before), yet every year CB collects a salary into UAE where he lives tax free. So what is the purpose of these 'companies'? I mean, they never really move forward. Alien Metals started a maiden drill in Oz in Jan 21 and are looking for production in next 9 moths. Have a look at how long Colin Birds various portfolios have been drilling and have a look at how many times there have been a material step towards production since he was at the helm

Again, what is the PURPOSE of these companies?

Money only ever goes out.

im still not convinced that many of the 'holders' here are genuine- yes ive seen a lot of naive investors on LSE but even by this standard.

Where is Eureka? I thought BZT had something there. Need to be careful as he often starts new projects before finishing the last. It will result in more placings and dilutions as the early part of new mining exploration is where the SP can take a hammering till you have proved it up

Gixxer, yes he is blaming the market on all his companies but their prices were still well down before the current bear market.

I know he traditionally likes to spend the summer in Europe (like many Middle Eastern based people) so I imagine he is in some comfortable beach house somewhere. You should all have a look back at the messages from 2-3 years ago and see this current sideshuffle is not new with him.

Just be careful guys. Colin Birds businesses have a history of one step forward, one step back. You may need more placings for more drillings which may similarly not meat the grade. Then your SP goes up and down and more of the latter. Beware of the dangling carrot that Colin so expertely hangs. Ive always said the money to be made on his companies are on short term bets before he ramps. Holding onto his stocks is a bad play as i discovered in bzt. The money I did make was over 2 or 3 weeks in XTR Xmas before last- though which I had held on till it touched 8.

GLL has been bouncing in this range for ages but was a lot higher when CB took over.

Its been higher than this though, much much higher. I dont see any news coming that can lift this company past 1.5 nevermind 2.

Lets get one thing straight. These interviews are not Jeremy Paxman. They will be briefer beforehand and if there is something they dont want to discuss, you can bet your dollar that they will tell the interviewer. If people get 'grilled' they wont come back and the channel will lose a big part of its audience.

You see how he starts the interview- first he gives the impression that he has been suffering like everyone else (when in reality he is a very wealthy person who lives in a tax haven), then he moves into his ramp mode. Nowhere near even an inferred JORC mineral resource and he is talking about production. Surely not even some of the people on this bb will be taken in by this...surely?!

Just remember the incredible assays from almost 1.5 years ago in Zambia, that prove to be **** (as I had predicted).

I havent been on here for a while- seems like De Ja Vu. Im watching to see if CB actually breaks with tradition and moves a project like Bushranger forward to the stage of commercial activity.

There was a guy who posted some while back. Was invested in XTR in the past and said a lot of them lost money a few years ago. It was the same problems you talk about now (poor/no communication, overpromising/underdelivering,lack of progression) so it has nothing to do with the 'market'. I remember he said at one point- noone had heard anything from CB as per usual- lot of frantic emails etc and then someone found a photo of him on twitter at the Royal Ascot or something- dressed to the nines- and 'grinning like a Cheshire cat'.

You can have a look through the LSE history- its just a revolving door of the same thing in XTR and other CB companies im afraid

XTR is one of the better ones- you are 'only' down 50% from when CB took over

Even more strangely- we had new profiles who came on the board 2 or 3 weeks BEFORE the 'incredible' hand results at Kalengwa- ramping VERY hard- the SP doubled after these results- and then those posters disappeared shortly after. Someone made a lot of money. I would like to do a Scooby Doo "reveal" to see who is behind those profiles but you dont need to be Poirot to think about it.

Talks of a mining application in Namibia are pure comedy. You do that once you have a JORC or are close to it. We are nowhere near.
