Why drill at Cheyeza and Muswema?3 Apr 2021 11:23
Looking back over the drill rns's, we've drilled more at Cheyeza than any other deposits. And have consistently hit mineralisation from close to surface to end of drill. With 80km square, it's double the size of Fwiji and the biggest deposit in both licenses. AA may as I've said in previous posts, want clarification that there's mineralisation at sub 160m? This would make Cheyeza a more probable target for second ore production after Fwiji. AA would want to produce from the deposit with the highest grades first, as a way of recouping their initial capex. Looking at the map of the licenses, North of Muswema and South West of Fwiji is vacant land, and I'm guessing where the mine processing plant would be constructed. Its also east of Cheyeza, so accessible to all three deposits, and why I think AA would target these deposits first for drilling? If they going to make a commercial transaction, they will use locality of the two biggest deposits in order to make the numbers commercial? As for not drilling at Fwiji, AA probably want to keep the deposit undrilled. So as to keep other majors away from bidding, while negotiating a lower price with Arcm? AA know we don't have the money to drill the other targets, or the time due to the rainy season. We really need to spend a few million on each of the three deposits, or get Kalaba into production? As for the other deposits, I'm of the opinion that AA would probably drill later down the line, and mine much later on. Between Fwiji and Cheyeza you've got 120km square of land, and that's big enough for most majors to concentrate on.
