Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Would make absolute sense for Iceland to make a move. I bet other PE/VC players will be weighing up options too.
Key question is do they make a move now or watch this fail and try to pick and choose assets out of administration. As another poster noted, if Morrisons (or rather their new owners) really want this, you won’t wait for it to fail and bag it now for peanuts compared to the price paid for Morrisons.
GLA for tomorrow. We will all know soon enough. Be prepared for the worst in any event and remember your health comes before your wallet.
Surely any approach, speculative or otherwise should have been released to the market. Had it done, share price would have been double where we are and they could have done a discounted raise.
Absolute clowns the management here. Just six months after a £30m raise and the market cap is less than that and now liquidity is running dry.
If this goes into administration, the entire Board should get a full dressing down in front of a select committee. This outcome could have been avoided. To say I’m angry is an understatement. On the other Board you have retail employees who’ve invested worried about their jobs.
Some of the BS you hear on here makes Boris sound like a Nun. On the other board there are ppl claiming the CEO is on a TG group with them and is giving commentary on how the RTO is progressing and giving vague hints about the timeline. Absolute nonsense. You simply cannot do this for a share in suspension. Any news affecting the timeline will be announced to the market.
These things take time. Anything before the summer will be quick/miraculous. If you’ve convinced yourself otherwise, you’re going to be bitterly disappointed in the coming weeks and months.
Wish these rampy-make it up as you go along brigade would simply disappear all together. Was reading about a guy who lost his life savings in ODX last week and had followed outrageous claims about 20X returns when the share was at its peak.
This has potential. It doesn’t need these clowns.
Great to see value being realised here.
Merit Group (MRIT) will be next IMO. Director buys recently at current levels and some big boys with big holdings.
I do wish LSE would let us write the name of a sovereign country, namely P@kistan, properly. It’s rather offensive in my opinion. A glorious part of the world - having lived two very happy years in walled city of Lahore myself. Totally understand the four lettered word is unacceptable but surely you can think of a work through LSE?!
The demand within P@kistan is huge.

Probably a buy because I can get a quote to sell 2m shares
Just pause and imagine the sales (and therefore the share price) from the US if this gets FDA approval post-RTO…..
Hardly any volume here but highly encouraging to see Director buys so I’ve taken a position. GLA.
Like any investment in any sector, it’s a question of belief and that boils down to a question of do you invest or not. Respect your view Legalwolf and you do raise legitimate concerns about the past and that is not de-ramping, you’re absolutely right. You’re also correct in saying (in my view) some of this speculative but similarly, much of the activity in my portfolio is speculative hence why there is a degree of risk. Fundamentally, Memon is relatively new as CEO and during her watch the Sheikh has increased his holding. That is one of many reasons why this is my biggest holding.
A proper debate involves views contrary to your own and sometimes involves things you don’t want to hear. I do hope you do invest one day as I believe in the potential but totally understand if you need to see more development before that happens.
Best wishes to you and yours and seasons greetings!
Why else would the BooHoo crowd be major investors in here? The links are obvious. We have next to no volume and it’s up, imagine this when the herd arrive. Market cap is only £11m so it’s pretty much a no brainer down here.
