Most likely disgruntled holders of placing shares. or some impatient spreadex punters closing long positions do to unexpected delay at HH. Some big trades have been showing up both ways since last placing. Hows HVO doing? any disgruntled shareholders over there?

Very high, It's a known field that's produced before, more a case of how much. I'm expecting anything from 50 to 200 bopd. More than that would be very lucky. IMO.

I very much doubt 7.8% has been traded through the MM's since the last placing, the volume has not been big enough. Could spreadex have approached Alba looking for shares, (got them on the cheap) hence the 2nd placing. possible could there have been an exchange with a large holder! Any how some one/one's fancies this to go up big time.

profit from local sales must also be very lucrative at this time, would not surprise me if debt has already been wiped. would think the premium of $1.80 to brent would increase in % terms matching a higher oil price.

Don't think you're missing anything, that's probably about right, would likely cost more to replace. If it was all destroyed by fire, the insurance would have to pay out at least that much. Trouble is, it's only really worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It does make us look like a sitting duck, as a takeover target, just for the assets alone.

depletion, the wells produce less as time goes by, they will need to drill new wells, and/or work over the old ones to increase their output. depends what's the most cost effective. It does seem a big decline though. They may have sold more locally.

I'm wondering if the new oil consultants have identified an investment opportunity for Alba, hence the fund raise.

No worries dsfat, what's done is done now, regarding the fundraise. I'm now just looking ahead with interest as to what flow rates we achieve from HH flow test. I'm staying in for the ride.

Hi Rambo23, Yes that's a good point, personally I would like them to inform us after each zone has been tested, rather than leave it all until the end. In my opinion they will most likely put it all together at the end. Over the testing period, a lot of eyes will be counting oil trucks leaving site. (could even get TV coverage again) peeps might get a good idea how much oil is being pumped out.

Welcome pornstar, not sure about that choice of name though. I would recommend spreading your risk and buying small amounts in different shares. Sell half if your investment doubles. Here looks like a good gamble to me as one choice. But just my own opinion. It could go down, just as easily as it could multiply upwards.

I'm assuming they will spend 4 weeks testing each one of the 3 pay zones in one well, and drilling a sidetrack and testing 1 zone in another well over the 3 months. There should be some money coming back to Alba from the sale of flow test oil, hopefully enough to pay for the testing.

What % chance HH flow test being a success? I'm going to be conservative and guess it will average out producing 700/900 bopd over the 3 months, considering it flowed over 1600 bopd in less than a day, I'm hoping for more, but would be satisfied with 800 bopd long term. My reconing, the area they drilled must have been a sweet spot, if it flowed before it should flow again. My understanding is, they will be testing 3 different zones, and drilling a sidetrack in one.
