I maintain that a well known, high profile chairman with credibility and status e.g. Don Nicholson, would raise awareness of Sareum and in turn the sp. As it stands Parker appears to be doing little or nothing the further the aims of Sareum.

Or preferably the appointment of a chairman who has the credibility to raise the profile of Sareum.....

We need and EGM or other formal action prior to any further placing.

Or alternatively we are where we are, in part, because Sierra whilst having a balance sheet of c. $80m have renaged on the deal in respect of milestone payments!

Potnak - it is erroneous to compare Apple / Samsung in the context of biotech development. As the empirical evidence for or against a given theoretical position emerges the weight and therefore potential value increases/decreases. Whilst the papers being cited may not directly refer to Sareums molecules they do provide support for the theoretical bases of the molecules and as such have a potential impact on commercial value. The bod need to get their act together in respect of publishing related papers as a matter of urgency.

Thoth - have you communicated this direct to TM? He does read his emails and responds if appropriate. At least by emailing direct there is no scope for denial.

Notwithstanding the Trading Statement (which they couldn’t even be arsed to tweet) on a day-to-day basis the bod and Parker appear to be doing sweet FA to support and maintain an sp consistent with the best/first in class status of the molecules in trials/development. NDA or not this just isn’t good enough IMHO

RMM - agreed, absolutely no desire to being the company down, on the contrary. We need however to be absolutely confident however that the bod and chair in particular have the ability to capitalise the full potential. If there is more effective action that can be taken in place of an EGM then we need to pursue that route. What we can’t afford to do IMHO is simply sit back and hope something is going on behind the scenes. We can hypothesise until the cows come home but in the absence of evidence we are running on blind faith. I will be very interested to hear what the alternatives are.

RMM - what action are you proposing for 30th?

RMM - so we need an EGM without further delay!

RMM - at the risk of repeating the same complaint, unless and until Sareum appoints a chairman with the commercial clout, commitment and a sole focus on Sareum we will get nowhere and we are at serious risk of missing the boat. Parker appears to have other interests which can only detract from his focus on Sareum. In the absence of evidence to the contrary we simply can’t afford to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Unless and until we get an focussed, effective and energetic chairman on board we will continue to stagnate.

RMM - once again, I am in wholehearted agreement. I maintain that an early EGM is absolutely necessary.

Thoth - all presupposing that shareholders can be bothered to show up at the AGM.

RMM - Thoth2 - in wholehearted agreement with you both. EGM is merely in abeyance pending substantial improvement in communications and evidence of demonstrable progress.
With the positive spin coming from TM e.g. '....Sierra should have EVERY CHANCE of finding a suitable solution to progress SRA737' '..significant shareholder value within 12 months'....interest from international pharmaceutical companies'....what are the BOD doing to reflect this in the SP which continues to languish?

RMM - doubtful Parker has done anything. Hasn’t even tweeted Re the last RNS, not that that’s necessarily significant.
