Fadec - thanks. So can we assume that the patent application referred to is for combination of SRA737 + Gemcitabine + Keytruda? I have been unable to find the application.

And thereby a/the likely suitor/provider of non dilutive funding....

The patent application will presumably identify the PD-L1 in question....

Thoth - Cancer is 1802, Lupus etc is 1801.....so long as they pull their fingers out, licence something and get the SP moving the critical mass will get closer then kaboooom....

Thoth2 - thanks. SDC1801 is also potentially massive is it not, particularly if efficacious with Lupus.
I was struck by John's apparently very relaxed approach at the Q&A to the pending SRI update which if I recall correctly he said would be published in a few months i.e. December/January.
If the findings are anything like as significant as the September 2017 'Novel Small-Molecule Inhibitor of Tyk2: Lucrative Therapeutic Target in Lupus' - we could be talking many billions!
An enticing reminder: "This approach may open up additional treatment approaches for lupus. The standard of care is little changed in 50 years, so there is a need for new treatment options. Tim and John seem incredibly sanguine about the Sierra milestone situation which is surprising given the potentially massive impact of Sareum's plans.
Maybe the poster tomorrow will get the SP off the floor...

Q: Comment re shareholding structure - voter turnout of 7.4% illustrates issues about lack of institutional backing. Can you give any commentary on how you can get institutional investors on board?

SP: I complete agree with the point that people are making that the company will be strengthened immeasurably by having an increased institutional shareholding base, I totally agree and accept that and that is a very large part of the thinking behind the various changes that we have slowly been putting into place. Most visible today being the 2 new non-execs. The point made earlier about increasing credibility with institutions by having a properly constituted board with sub-committees of the board which we are now putting into place is something which institutions rightly pay a great deal of attention to governance issues….

We have been working over time to have both non-deal placement deal meetings with institutions to try to encourage them to look our way and we believe that we are making slow progress but quite demonstrably its not yet tangible but its something we are working very hard on and will continue to do so.
