I agree with RMM....the absolutely crucial element is the ability to commercialise without which all Tim and John’s amazing efforts will have been for nothing. Your summary could be used as the basis for the PR necessary to get the SP off the floor!

The potential scope of SDC-1801 appears to be absolutely massive given the extensive range of conditions against which the molecule could be efficacious. The successful treatment of any one of the conditions listed below would have multi billion dollar implications.
Whilst the interminable waiting is grindingly tedious, against this backdrop the potential license negotiations must be hugely complex and one can only hope that Sareum have engaged a team of world class negotiators.
What remains inexplicable/unacceptable is the non-existent PR in a context where the potential SP is massive.

JR: SRI have been involved in all autoimmune disease aspects of the programme…they are focussing wholly on Lupus research at the moment ...they have done some tests on 1801…they have not looked at 1801 in their Lupus model. They have looked at other molecules in their Lupus model, they got a grant from the department of defence specifically to focus on that. They put out an interim report that showed some promising data however they have not finished their studies…yet, so we are really waiting for them to complete that before we put out our press release on the Lupus data.

Q: Do we anticipate that SRI will be involved in 1801

JR: So we are in to the pre-clinical development stage of the project now – they have the potential to contribute to that however I don’t think they have the funding at the moment so we are pursuing that by ourselves at the moment. They are still doing some discovery stage research.

Based on the last 2 years the AGM provides a very limited opportunity for scrutiny and challenge given that the bulk of the meeting is taken up with formal business. I would guess about 30-45 minutes. Given the extent of current dissatisfaction it could be argued that an urgent EGM woould be more appropriate forum in which to hold the bod to account.
On a separate issue, at the last AGM Parker was repeatedly and quite forcefully challenged on the absence of institutional investors and I can hear him now saying 'we are working on it, we are working on it'.....
