Correction - not validation as such but evidence of interest in the TYK2 class of drugs.

The small biotech is banking on recent advancements in the TYK2 field, namely the 2022 approval for BMS’ psoriasis medicine Sotyktu and Takeda’s $4 billion upfront bet a few months later on Nimbus’ once-a-day pill, which is entering late-stage development. Biohaven also in-licensed a brain-penetrant TYK2 inhibitor, which also goes after JAK1, earlier this year. And Atomwise, one of the early biotechs to hype up the AI field, is making TYK2 its lead program.

We and others have shown that DNA damage response (DDR) components are overexpressed in SCLC and targeting DDR could be an effective therapeutic strategy in SCLC.

RMM - Many thanks as always. I’d agree with your thinking around 737 I.e. probably small upfront etc. just hope the market responds enthusiastically.

Re 1801 I would be confident that the chairman is acutely aware of the potential vulnerabilities for predatory approaches and will doing what’s necessary to secure Sareum’s position. I think we would have been in an altogether better position if SP had been on the board when the 737 deal was originally negotiated. As he said recently one doesn’t want to trip over the same stone twice!

It would be helpful to hear your thoughts on the current status quo and your near term expectations. Given the time it is taking to do the 737 deal do your anticipate that this implies it is not going to blow the doors off if/when it finally lands? Are you expecting anything on 1801 before the end of the year?

A novel highly selective allosteric inhibitor of tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) can block inflammation- and autoimmune-related pathways.

Conclusion: There is an unmet need for safe, rapid-acting and efficacious drugs against psoriasis and other autoimmune diseases. There is a strong rationale for targeting the TYK2 JH2 domain in these diseases, and QL-1200186 may be a promising option. QL-1200186 potently blocks the cytokine-mediated inflammatory response through TYK2. Palpable excitement from the BoD!!! It’s been a long time coming but we seem to be entering a new era!! Great end to the week!!

Compared to previous IMC meetings there certainly seemed to be both a real energy in the responses to most questions and a willingness to provide as much information as possible.

There seems little doubt that an SRA737 deal of some sort is inbound....particularly liked John referring a number of times to "our" CHK1 compound.

I would concur with RMM's comments re approaching the end game.

All in all much to be optimistic about and absolutely no doubts the BoD are working super-diligently to bring home the bacon.

Note to self - when impatiently frustrated, have another listen to the presentation.

Potnak - 20 months since the last public facing interview! Not suggesting that the company spends a fortune on slick stuff but come on, we have potential best is class targets and exciting opportunities. Maybe a short clip with the office Jack Russell dreased in a Sareum jump suit doing somersaults in would grab some attention. Nothing seems to be doing so thus far!
