I believe that they are selling assets rather than selling the company so they could sell the proven assets now and then wait until the other possible resources are proved.

Just realised (I can be rather slow) that the company are talking about the sale of assets rather than the sale of the company. This would would mean that they could sell only the proved resources at Monchetundra and keep their options open for the unproved flanks and the land beyond. They also have the option of keeping the earnings of the operational West Kylim etc.
I was already optimistic but if they can pull this off it is even better!
That to me puts a much better perspective on it, as they can go ahead immediately. I couldn't see the point of selling the company with the extra assets unproven.

In his interview on Oct 30th Dimitri Suschov (on YouTube search ‘Eurasia Mining's Dmitry Suschov’) said that the company has $50 million that it does not need and that they intended to issue a special dividend (as the directors wanted the money).
This equates to 1.76p per share which pays Dimitri £8 million and Christian £1.5 million so you can see the incentive for this going ahead.
Time after time Dimitri talks about ‘not rushing’ which I think refers to the takeover – they may have agreed with the banks not to sell out until they have proved the resources in the flanks (or even in the additional land beyond).

As I have said before I don't think the BoD have any intenetion of selling out now. Why would they when the flanks resource is unproved and they won't get anything for it. Talking to the banks just served to get the price rerating started.

The RNS announcing the interest of the banks (but with no agreement signed) served to alert investors to the true value of the company and get the rerating started. The two recent RNS about warrants are significant in their own way. Usually such an announcement would be a one-liner stating the new number of voting shares. However, in each case the company used it to show their cashflow and strong financial position. Likewise, two recent articles in Proactive Investors talked about the strong cash position to explain the rise in share price, with no mention of a takeover.
So what is the intrinsic value? A recent poster stated that mining companies are valued at 4% of the resource in the ground. I have no idea if this is correct, but I can’t believe the valuation would be lower than this. I think that produces a very conservative value of around 4.5p per share with nothing added for the flanks or the ongoing operations.
The rerating would put the company on a much surer footing for going on the develop the flanks.
I see the share price at settling well north of 4.5p. If and when the extra resources are proved in the flanks then the price would shoot up again – and maybe then would be the time for a takeover.

Another RNS about conversion of warrants, and the £100k as being useful working capital. It is just so out of context with a company that may be worth $1billion or even more. The numbers here are just mind boggling and I am finding difficulty in understanding that I appear to be inside this bubble that is going to explode.

Rather odd but very positive comment from Proactive. They talk about the reasons for the rise in price without making any mention of the banks and takeover possibilties.

I guess I am one of the 'new posters'. Rather patronising really. EUA is my favourite investment and now my largest by some margin and I have been following it carefully for about a year. I belive it to be a brilliant investment - but I don't have blind faith as I have been caught out before. I am simply trying to look from all angles to see where there may be issues, as the blatant undervaluing could suggest.

Companies are usually valued on their intrinsic worth not on takeover offers. It is not helpful to call me stupid.

I think my point is that I got in under the radar, but now that there has been lots of publicity I would have expected a much bigger rise. I am holding, but it is only natural to wonder if I don't know the whole story - though obviously you do know it all.

I hold 10 million shares starting from nearly a year ago. I hope for a large profit but I think it is sensible to question why the shares are so cheap.

I have been invested in EUA for quite a while and have a considerable holding. I also had an investment last year in a company that appeared to be doing very well until it turned out that the owner had been falsifying the accounts. I am ceratinly not suggesting any wrongdoings here, but if it really is as good as it appears to be why is it not already at 10p or 20p or more? Please answer this question rather than ****ging me off.

I have the same misgivings. If this is such a cert then why hasn't the price already rocketed?

Have just looked at my portfolio on III. It says that the price of EUA rose by 17% today. It actually went down. How confusing is that for someone who doesn't have time to dive into every line in the portfolio summary?
