I don’t think they would have said that unless the deal is complete, if it wasn’t a done deal there would be no way to have moved forward with the BP deal.

Ferret the Half year results are out Thursday not tomorrow. The price movement today is being driven by the OPEC meeting tomorrow.
Hopefully they agree to keep a tight ship until the end of the year, then we get good news on the refinancing deal Thursday with half year results.

Brent spot price was sitting at $44.7 at 4.30 yesterday its now above $45 so its actually up from market close.
All eyes on the Opec meeting tomorrow, if they can keep a tight ship then we should see inventory's start to move back to a average come the end of the year.
We should start seeing the low rig count start affecting US production by the end of the year as well.

We are going to be seeing a few games this week leading up to the Update on Thursday. We all know if they have got the finance deal done then we are going to see another strong move up, if we haven't then we could see the BP deal rejected

Deal done will certainly rocket the price that's for sure

Also The Cash call is to purchase a asset worth £500m for £200m so don’t assume the SP will fall when the RI is announced

Just to note Enquest SP went up on the day of the RI and then rallied well into the 30’swhen the RI was 23p

Simply Wall Street are appalling with there valuations on all companies, last year they valued Enquest at £1.39 per share. With zero debt or oil prices at $100 possible but we are where we are because of demand for a stock
