Hi Pelle, Surely we need another 12 months at current oil prices to reduce the debt level enough before considering shareholder returns ! A clear published plan is fine by me.
I don’t see how it’s possible otherwise specially with the current hedges in place. We should be around $1b mark at the end of the year, gives us 2022 to get the debt down to $500m or just under then we will be in a position to either pay shareholders or buy more assets? Or maybe a bit of both

We won’t receive any shareholder returns until 2023, get the Debt level down to around $500m but what we need is a published plan to return to dividends, at the moment no one knows what the plan is unless you sit on the BOD

This is such a strange thing to do, hardly any news about it in the press and the brokers all ignored it, so we just have to put it down to repairing the asset base/production all the while increasing debt again
The market has perceived it as just another asset to cover the debt payments - we are unfortunately just a debt zombie until proven otherwise. When that will be is a wet finger in the air at the moment

UK oil stocks are a joke, it’s looking doubtful if we are ever going to see true value unless something dramatic happens like oil prices climbing into plus $100 territory for at least a couple of years and even then the SP would tank with any slight drop in oil prices.
Wish I had jumped out a few years ago, at least I wouldn’t have lost my hair.

Seems to be right across the sector now, it’s as if there is government attack on oil stocks to drive investors away from investing in oil all together.
All the years I’ve invested in oil stocks I’ve never seen such weakness, lack of volume against high oil prices.
I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist but something is happening

Enq was 24.8 on August 10 with Brent at $74 how are we sitting at the same price with Brent $10 higher and the GE asset added to our portfolio
It’s complete boll**ks !

The stocks go down with low oil prices and don’t go up with high oil prices, but fall further on the slightest weakness

I done the same a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised at the response I got specially from IR

Good work tarmak maybe you should forward your figures to IR asking if your are somewhere close using the figures that are available to the public

The question being are we all missing something here ? We all think Enq is badly undervalued but is it ? Usually the market values companies on future income so why not ours ? We can go through the figures and come to the same conclusion every time, so why are we not seeing greedy investors piling into U.K. oil stocks ?

Blimey Brent was mid 86’s 36hrs ago now 82.4 and falling
Maybe we will see Europe bend over for Iranian oil and risk Iran becoming a nuclear power

No chance of Brent at 75, if you said 80 I would have given you half a chance, 23.5p buy in …. You got a long wait

Anyway we are making huge amounts of FCF so one day we’re going to get the reward

We have now lost all Mondays gain, the SP was exactly the same last week with the same oil price as today, so it’s obvious GE must have already been priced in.
That’s a bast*rd

So FCF is around $55m per month that should roughly be adding 3p to our SP every month
So in theory we should be touching 30p by the end of November

That’s a large shake out and hopefully most day traders didn’t make much of a profit, now back to slowly slowly catch the monkey
