Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Looks like EnQuest have decided to invest in this new business to offset the EPL charge, no point handing it over to the government when you are entitled to do that.
We are positioned to take advantage of it and the use of our TAX credits on both companies
What's not to like
R please Correct me if I’m wrong here but say HBR make £1b in gross profit that is subject to 45%corporation tax = £450m and you can use £450m of our tax credits giving you the extra £450m you would otherwise have handed over to HMRC then surely those tax credits are worth more than their £450m accounting value.
Is this new energy company being used to reinvent EnQuest and attract the larger investors, can the hedge funds invest in energy companies with a big potential into green fuels and carbon capture technology - keeping the oil side of the business in the background - I think they can.
It’s a plan that could very well work
This is way oversold and at some point in the near future this will bounce I'm sure.
Where's me old mate Jan - Hope you are ok and not stressing too much.
We are in this together and I'm positive we will come out of this fighting again, Its not like we haven't done it before.
Come on EnQuest

This period has certainly panicked most shareholders new and old into selling and Enquest would have known the delisting would have caused that even though IR said they were disappointed at the markets reaction, what else did they expect? They knew exactly what was going to happen but why ? There is always a motive and I don't believe it was down to cost saving alone.
So what is going on behind the scenes that we don't know.
We can't keep on losing a penny every week

Flash so why would you wait until the 19th to sell out knowing the stock would have been under pressure from the announcement back on the 5th September. Most would have already sold leading up to yesterday if they were planning on selling out.
Another few days once the traders see the selling drying up and they will start accumulating again.
I think it’s sit back and relax time while we wait for the 19th
He would need to reach 30% for that to happen he only has 12% I hope he’s not thinking of doing that, but who knows. And if the shares are there to buy cheap why not ! He is probably more frustrated about it than us lot
They can’t and won’t do anything, not sure they care about short term price movements.
They are doing all they can to reduce the debt and they are doing well, what else can they do ?
They could begin buy backs but that wouldn’t really help as it would enable more selling at a slightly higher price,
Get the debt down as quickly as possible over the next 2 years and then start returns is our only hope now.
I think we can safely say the 60p party has about as much chance of happening as Harry becoming King
