Fair point obmuj maybe I was generalising and made an incorrect point. I know they had a tough winter in 2023-2024 but we are now in late April so I’d of thought the weather would have cleared up by now.

I’ve got at least 20 years before I retire so hopefullly illl see a few more booms at Erich point I’ll have to really smash them and hopefully triple or quadruple my money in a year. Until then it’s about learning so when the market goes boom I’m perfectly placed to really benefit from it.

Yeah but when your in retirement you can’t be making such risky investments, if a share tanked and you lost 20k that be a huge hit for someone in retirement.

They look above average so hopefully they are buys rather than late reported sells. It’s gone up last few days so can’t see why it be a sell unless someone has brought the other side at a premium?

I think your right, they hoped for results by the end of the month but the last few rns have suggested they are having bad weather so that may delay the results a bit

It doesn’t help that the o& g industry hasn’t had many winners so it’s not had the exitement of a few years back. Hopefully hex will be a winner and bring people back to this unloved sector.

I’m sorry you lost loads, I think getting emotionally invested in these companies can cause lots of pain. I don’t believe holding long term in these aim shares benefits the holders.

Least the 12% rise today will go some where to recovering some of that lost money

Fingers crossed with this being an American company it won’t be affected by the incertancy of the trump tariffs. If anything it should bring investors in as they won’t be affected by the tariffs
