No I do appriciate that Dai, its not black and white and yes things can crop up which you dont expect however the bank offers a service. They give you cash and you pay it back with interst, a bit like mcdonalds you buy a buger for £5.00 and pay for it.
I think its crazy how much banks make ill admit but Im a big beliver you pay what you owe and go without if necissary. I recently gave back my 2 year old Nissan Quashqi and brought a 10 year old car to save money. Not ideal but saves £300 a month which I intend to save so I have back up funds incase one of your life events crops up. Im very fortunate ill admit but to a certain degree we make our own luck by being sensible with money and having a pot of cash for a rainy day.
