Troublesome Loam would have had a one to one meeting with the company after the interims before deciding on what to do in the tender…it is not a great vote of confidence in the long term tendering their entire holding. But maybe there is a cunning plan that is not as transparent as that that someone can make up and post?
X
Kooba, do you think LO have used your company valuation calculations and that they now know what the share price "should" be?..
No i’m sure they did their own calculations very similar thats why they decided to dump out i reckon? What do you think?
I dont want to spin anything X i just know the largest institutional holder that knows the company inside out and has been invested even longer than you has just tried to sell their whole holding at 24p. You tell me why that is good?
They have many investments and maybe want to free up cash to reinvest elsewhere ..they can invest in quite a few other investments you know they can move on after all now they had another liquidity event they supported.
I know how institutions work fella and i don’t need help telling me that they bought some sub cash and have sold at a modest premium.
Doesnt appear it is me furiously backtracking..and it appears however you look at it LOAM thought 24p too good a level to turn down.
Maybe just maybe they are looking to replace their holding lower down nearer current cash…what’s wrong with that as a professional strategy??
so they have traded out to buy back in..oh are you not going to **** them off as short term traders??
what makes you even think they want back in they tendered their entire holding..were they not afraid of the taking a bullet and the price running away from them.
you have no idea whether they might just want to dump the rest having got a good price for the majority of their holding do you ? no idea of why they sold and their intentions now.
sorry you can’t spin this after everything you have said.
So £8.85m of the £30m return has gone to the largest holder who tendered their entire holding.
The retail were given a 60p target broker note just before the exercise.
Loam playing retail like a fiddle again.
And this is great news because Loam are rather clever in the stock??
They have actually sold the max..they tendered their whole holding.
They have gone from 16.58% old outstanding = 53790629 shares
To 8.51% of reduced share capital 16945280.
That is a 69% reduction. They tried to get out!
What they do now i wonder?
They would need to announce based on the shares outstanding on the date of change.
The buyback at current levels would involve about 13m shares of the 200m left after the tender so only 6.5% of shares. So it could have an impact on the 1% barrier notifications but not every time they buyback. But there should be no delay in disclosing major shareholder changes and as said the date of the transaction not settlement is the trigger date.
Off this morning have fun play nice…especially you Professor Plum!
You have also been posting for far too long with the same id!! Nw blows their ids up frequently and goes off in a hissy fit. New accounts that suddenly post volumes do though raise doubts ..nw often surfaces all reasonable and educated like ..then descends rapidly into an abuse and chaos. Nasty Nige.
Me do I think you are NigWit..no.
Do I sense the dark side elsewhere yes..but not going to throw allegations.
Ngr we have had disagreements and you find me annoying and I find you annoying ..but I am very aware of nw methods and I do not see it in your posts, personally speaking.
NGR ..Quantum leaper 1 and 2 on the other board ..caught them out after they protested they were not nigwit ..then they admitted it after slipping up.
Complete liar so no idea whether they have multiple ids on multiple boards ..nothing would surprise. But one thing is for sure they descend into vile abuse before they dump an old id.
Hardly surprising such behaviour breeds mistrust.
We know the NigWit uses multiple ids and lies that he doesn’t..as you say you need to be quite bright to not get caught..thats why they keep getting caught.
I haven’t made specific accusations but the chances of the them being present on hear is quite high as they have been reposting and commenting on content hear. They think they can play psychological games…but they are just craving attention and look rather sad.
Appreciate comments troublesome…I genuinely try to avoid the schoolyard antics but sometimes I can’t resist a pop back..now putting such folk on ignore , they are a waste of energy and have nothing but lies. Should feel sad for them but no , they are vile false actors and them unreservedly backing Mr Tenner probably does him no favours.
Estimate they bought £167k of shares…at 23.2p
That would be 720k shares.
That would be a rather large 24 % of shares traded
I reckon IDL70 with that 325k shares , around 10% of shares traded might be about right.
Still not really using much firepower up ..but it appears quite a few are getting their money and any balance back earlier than some were guiding to.
Dipper111.
There will only be major holder disclosures if they have either undersubscribed or oversubscribed. If they have sold 38.5% in the tender their interest in the outstanding equity remains the same.
The transaction took place on 11th April so that is the date of the change of ownership.
Under disclosure rules Nanoco being a UK company the parties have 2 business days to disclose..so sort of today! So maybe no changes or maybe there is a slight delay in shareholders getting the details ?
Fca handbook
The notification to the issuer shall be effected as soon as possible, but not later than four trading days in the case of a non-UKissuer and two trading days in all other cases, after the date on which the relevant person:
(1) learns of the acquisition or disposal or of the possibility of exercising voting rights, or on which, having regard to the circumstances, should have learned of it, regardless of the date on which the acquisition, disposal or possibility of exercising voting rights takes effect; or
(2) is informed about the event mentioned in DTR 5.1.2 R (2).
And for the purposes of (1) above a person shall, in relation to a transaction to which he is a party or which he has instructed, be deemed to have knowledge of the acquisition, disposal or possibility to exercise voting rights no later than two trading days following the transaction in question and where a transaction is conditional upon the approval by public authorities of the transaction or on a future uncertain event the occurrence of which is outside the control of the parties to the agreement, the parties are deemed to have knowledge of the acquisition, disposal or possibility of exercising voting rights only when the relevant approvals are obtained or when the event happens.
I have seen a number of posters wanting to take money off the table ..so your three options are not balanced..some are taking profits and some have had enough I guess.
You are telling me what I want to do with my money now ..that’s interesting.
I’m only interested lower down I have zero interest in chasing the shares up here fwiw.
But I am looking at a few other situations just now that might provide shorter term upside.
It’s difficult being balanced when you are not really isn’t it !
