They cannot allow as happened before a false market to form where there is not a level playing field of sensitive information.

We are getting to the point where there might need to be a statement updating on sales process or saying know of no reason and will update after the FY END.

They have met resistance here in the past having previously sold at 15p in wake of directors buys …will be keeping 60% of holding for now having top sliced.

If the company know of a reason why the share price has spiked and suspect a leak they would have to inform the market.

Having bought a lot ( posted at time) at around 7p happy to bank some profits here in the absence of any actual news.

From what the company have reported there are quite a few other jda’s possible before the year end which would boost cashflow and extend cash runway..there is of course the potential of a settlement with LG..So there are some potential positives aside from the actual sale of the business that could mitigate any withdrawal from the sale process.

I think the timing of a pump just after 2 quarter quite clever ..if only they had known about the sale process they could have pumped it far better talking up a big sale..missed opportunity. But they have sparked interest but seems we now have short term money in for all the wrong reasons!

Rather omits the fact that the company is in the middle of a process to sell all the operations and IP that being in the best interests of shareholders and focuses on delivery of huge revenues in the short term with zero indication of where that might be coming from or the fact that the company has failed over decades in building any commercial revenue streams. Just a chancer who has likely flipped already.

I ve seen people use social media as a cover for dealing on hot information before ..why did you buy just ahead of news…oh i read about the company on X.

Might find out tomorrow ..either a pump and dump or something behind it ..on further consideration think this is just une rampe.

In some weird parallel universe that makes no sense.

I doubt this move was prompted by that note where there was zero new for even the casual follower..so guessing that there is news coming following the end of Q2 that will update on the sales process in some way. If there are a number of parties that have submitted indications of interest and are still in the process then this move is just on the back of a leak. I did express my thoughts that with this counter any positive developments would be reflected in the price before being announced so it would appear once again not a level playing field. Disappointing.

If calling it after the event by creating new user names and reinventing your posting history was a skill set at least you would have one skill Terry ..alas it is not it is just deceitful behaviour and shows what a pointless waste of time you really are.

I’m sure having made big calls on the outcome of the sales process ..$200m nothing to the big players likely to buy this ..if nothing happens you can go reinvent yourself all over again claim8ng to have called it right.

It was a poster called nigwit predicting £1b plus £100m a year royalties…what a space cadet ..I saw the post and pointed it out.

They then left never to be seen again! In that guise but are back accusing everyone else of getting over excited…couldn’t make it up.

Hate pumpers…but hate deceitful posters who even when caught bang to rights won’t admit it.

With six months into process and a number of months in the data room most dd should have been complete by potential bidders. Indications of interest should then be narrowed down to acceptable and deliverable offers…so it could be down to one or two if any. There then is the transaction discussions on how an offer is formed which should really only take a matter of months before they get to a binding offer that can be announced with completion before the end of calendar year.

Obviously aware of MAR and when something has to be announced but agree with Smithy at this stage even if there is no indications of interest its debatable whether they extend that timeline until they have good news to soften the blow?? Maybe with FY end update ?

The share price is doing its usual during quiet periods and does not indicate to me that there is going to be a happy ending for shareholders through the sales process. If there was significant serious interest at anything like some have thought possible the shares wouldn’t be where they are in my view.

He said he expected indications of interest by end of calendar quarter 2 ..end of this month.

Delirious ..with 194m shares in issue £60m in the middle of your range plus the cash still in the business would get us well over 30p a share cash taking into account advisor fees and wind up costs…though if all the operational assets were sold wind up shouldn’t be much. Only the executives are employed directly by the listed entity. More than 200% upside on current levels.

We can but dream…who would guess the market could be so wrong!

The only question there is what is a “big “ bid…the rest is just different interpretations.

So i say a big bid is nowhere near £100m..and that kind of level is unrealistic. I would be absolutely delighted if i was proved wrong ..but getting ones hope up above reasonable levels has not been a good idea with this counter.

In the meantime seems we will disagree on our reading of events..thats fine.

Real question is ..is the CEO correct in believing there will be offer(s) at the end of this process or are they going through the motions buying time.

By making an offer for the whole listed entity ..then the shareholders who own the company , predominantly PI’s , can decide the fate of the company directly…dual strategy or not.

In terms of that dual strategy the company has clearly said that they believe a sale in in the best interests of the company a number of times…clearly if that is not successful they will try to go it alone. Again if you are trying to sell something you do not transmit that it has little future as an independent concern..you say there is a dual strategy!

Unless the bidder is LG of course , in which case all is resolved in one go.

I’m not sure proposed litigation will hamper the outcome of the sale process too much the CEO gave his timelines for progressing again after the initiation of action..some bidders might like the idea of pursuing infringers but can easily shut it down if they wish… industry related buyers i think are the most likely buyers rather than private equity anyway , PE would normally seek situations with sales where they can maximise cash flow rather than companies with no sales who burn cash…but who knows.

From guidance indications of interest should be with the company in the next few weeks..whether there is any update on number of interested parties and next steps is unclear…but probably not.

Next news likely to be further JDA’s or some year end trading update.
