I struggle to understand why people sell on good news before the markets take a route.

There will never be a vaccine for this nor flu or common cold

That’s global filtered now
All the little ducks in a line

Hoping we get good news in the next week or two, and manufacturing starts soon.
The sheer scale of potential profits from the tests will surely put the recent £48million Fund raising into insignificance.
The potential profits will expand and accelerate the cancer treatments Avacta has to offer at this point.
If trials are successful this company will make even more money than the tests we are trying to produce now . It will transform cancer therapy worldwide and will be the sole independent supplier to the whole world. And will be number 1 for several years or more before any other company try to compete with the same technology.
Potentially Avacta can be a world beater for the next 20 years before others play catch up, by then Avacta will be on a different level trialing new techniques on other cancers.
Shareholders should see a very good dividend and shareholder value the likes of what dreams are made of providing you can hold out and not press the sell button for the sake of a new Aston Martin !

Global, youre first post on avacta this morning states you sold out YESTERDAY, then your last post on Avacta today says you sold out today,
You chastise a fellow poster, but you yourself cant keep up with your own posts.
So which one is correct ?

I`m guessing there has been a large seller today, which dosen`t bode well !!!

I really do hope sales are healthy but its whats left in the kitty at the end of the day. Until we have a positive trading update the share price aint going anywhere north.
The management, and deals signed will be judged on the next statement, we cant keep bouncing along the road. And my money will stay in my pocket until i see big improvements and a positive finiancial position.
To much of a gamble not to.

Ive seen so many times before, you obviously have only got a one track mind. You seem to attack everyone with any negative thought. Its an observation some of the shareholders have, and quite rightly so ! Just because the management are where they are id dosen`t mean they know everything and can see everything, you need to stand back and look at the company with open mind.
The share price is where it is because people have an open mind, until trading statements tell us how the management are doing and so far its not good, irrispective what deals they have signed over the last 12 -24 months, Its revenue and profit that tells us how good the management are, and so far its not good !!!!!

This is either going to rise quite a bit or plummet.
I’ve been saying that profits have to cover costs otherwise the management will need to come back to us, cap in hand.
So if all the hard work the management have been doing over the last 12 months has resulted in profits and money in the bank, then happy days. Price going up.
But if like I’ve been saying the costs putting all these deals together are more than the revenue, this will then tank.
Fingers crossed good news tommorrow

A question if I may, or anybody for that matter,
Having watched the video today from AS, He mentioned a little about the cancer treatment and having the capabilities of directing the chemo directly into the Tumor without to many side affects if any at all.
Have I seen somewhere, that by doing this they can administer a stronger doseage into the Tumour, without the horrible sideaffects ?

so this share goes weeks with little movement so to speak, now some really big buys, Someone knows something, this could be the start of some upward movement for a while, time will tell, but something positive is brewing I think

does anyone know who started Avacta up or how it came about.

I got bitten on a stock many moons ago, to painful to mention.
I then started dipping a toe in the water again. I noticed a share called Koovs, There were 2 rampers on there that wouldnt allow you to say anything wrong or negative, you would instantly get bad mouthed.
I tried to explain the pain I went through on another share and to be carefull, As you never really know !!!! The 2 rampers and followers black balled me, and to be fair their posts seemed logical and well researched. So I decided to buy £13k
a few weeks after I bought, the chairman took the company private. !!!! we all lost everything again. for me only a small amount compared to my other.
So while this share seems like a golden goose to some. But needs patience !!!
my advice is becarefull, dont fall in love with a share and dont let it rule your heart. Until Optibiotic start posting significent revenues and posting profits, this share will be stagnant until they do.
My post will not alter the SP of this share, so no need to worry. but an open mind is very much needed here !!

Apparently the BBC is reporting a new pandemic, that scientists are just assesing, that is also coming out of China that appears to be a very strong strain.
If so the Model that Avacta is using on the Corvid strain may be adapted for this if it really does become a pandemic

Gresham, I still hold. have done for about 18 months. i`m sitting on a loss, only one person to blame. ( me !! )

The management are doing a pretty good job I would say at striking deals. Now how good they are at extracting the most monies from each deal is arguable. !!!
What I do know is, not enough revenue is coming in to cover costs. so unless the management start upping the game and start creating more revenue, at some point they will need more money.
All I can see at the moment is a can being kicked down the road.
Yes the post is negative, but its fact whether you or me like it or not.
Am I deramping noooo, I dont want any more shares in this company until i see positive finiancial returns and a serious upward trend !

Having just watched the interview again with AS, he clearly states, that they will hopefully be using the tests on patients towards the end of june, Which appears to be spot on

Hope this dosent seem like ramping,
But if Avacta have something unique with the Affimers, and it passes all clinical trials and proves to be successful, not only will they be the only company in the world with this technology, But every country in the world will want their products on their shelves.
Avacta will have total dominance for a number of years before other companies create their own. The financial value to Avacta would be unthinkable.

Now regarding this coronavirus,
again if Avacta pull this off and get it approved, and it works, the world financially is their oyster. The share price will just explode.
I`m also hoping that the technology may be used for other viruses across the world, so again, it may have other uses after Corvid 19 abates.
Now who ever can ride this share to the limit and hold, dividends may play a huge part in years to come.
many outcomes for any who has the stomach.
we just want the technology to work and be passed.
