I am more or less resigned to the fact that gold is likely to drop further and am ready to purchase at suitable levels. I keep things fairly standard and purchase 100g bars only, typically at least 2 each time.

I'm not concerned with short term movements and have strong conviction in the long term for sound monetary assets.

Currency debasement, printing, inflation, eroding trust in institutions are all headwinds for gold

Even in deflationary periods gold has performed well.
