That is my suspicion although it appears as a liability on the FEDs balance sheet and so any gold is technically owned by the Treasury. Whether there is any gold is up for debate

The gold has never been audited and repatriation claims take years which suggests the US has to surreptitiously acquire gold before "returning" it to the likes of Germany.

If the stock market crashed over in the US the economy would be truly revealed for what it is

Business travel by in large is no longer the luxury it once was. Unless you're a high roller, you're flying economy with the rest of us.

All of my air travel within the UK over the last 5 years has regrettably been with the likes of Ryanair, Flybe and EZ. Clients will not accept our fees if we're not competitive.

We've even been forced to take the carrier of the clients choice in some instances for international travel.
