From the RNS 'The limit of the increased Transitional Facility was calculated based on an exchange rate of greater than 30% above the current market rates. Accugas is confident therefore that the Transitional Facility will be sufficient to fully repay the Accugas US$ Facility, However, repayment of the Accugas US$ Facility and utilisation of the Transitional Facility continue to require access to appropriately priced US Dollars. If the expanded Transitional Facility is not sufficient to fully repay the Accugas US$ Facility, an amount would remain outstanding which is required to be repaid by the final maturity date of the Accugas US$ Facility (31 December 2025). The base case model shows that sufficient cash flows are available to service any remaining balance under the Accugas US$ Facility.'

They said that the increased facility would enable the remaining outstanding US$ balance to be converted into Naira, with the expectation this would allow the remainder of the Accugas US$ Facility to be fully repaid by end 2025. In the event that there was a remaining US$ balance, it could be serviced by existing cashflow.

Hi TiL, I don't think we will hear anything on the Naira/USD conversion as their assumption was that they could service any remaining balance through existing cash flow, so no reason to RNS anything unless they couldn't.

From the half year results RNS regarding the transitional facility:

If it happened that way then Savannah would not have received the funding for the new shares which presumably they wanted. This way they get the funding up front and then do the buyback only if they get excess cash from the trade receivables.

Probably because the third parties haven't been finalised at the time of the announcement. The third parties are likely to include external investors or brokers acting on behalf of the company for the purpose of structuring or facilitating the buyback. Standard stuff to be honest.

No idea who the third parties would be but the AGM document makes clear they will be cancelled or put into treasury
