A quick glance at their pro active invetors interview revealed that Bridgen was saying their costs were $7.50 per lb
That equates to $16.80 a kilo while Bushveld produce lots more at a cost likely to go lower of $14.50 per kilo.
So, thanks for the tip but no thanks, I shall stay with Bushy, an established and vertically integrated operation with lots of strings to its bow

What is driving this up is the FACT that the share is grossly undervalued and people are gradually waking up to the fact and Investors Chronicle , yes EVEN THEM, are saying the price should be higher.
If you are as your name suggests an analyst , Read "The Bushveld perspective "site which sets out why this is a bloody marvellous investment , almost completely ignored by the intelligentsia of the stock market who must be as thick as two short planks!

And what a surprise - immediately at auction time a great dollop -was 470000ish were sold at a low price. Was that what triggered the price extension, I wonder. With any luck whoever has been selling in bucketloads has been rumbled!

Despite all bullish news , a great Q1 report, Investor Chronicle tip, SPAngel price estimate, SA Government encouragement of circs for mini-grids and positive news re up-coming use of VRFBs, notwithstanding this morning's slightly disappointing uptick, our share price still languishes. Rich Ken regularly summarises our strengths better than me.
People say crooked market, bent MMs etc but every time there is a slight rise , suddenly great dollops of shares 100000 or 50000 or 30000 at a time appear.
Seems to me someone somewhere has an agenda to try to keep the price well below true value.
Is someone funding losses for this purpose with the intent of a sub-value takeover offer being brewed? Expensive game it might prove here, but individuals lose patience with underperformance if softened up for long enough.
I feel the true value of my investment is being threatened by someone with an ulterior motive.
So , I say to holders hold on and refuse to sell as ultimately your reward will come , hopefully at the expense of whoever is trying to hold us down.

Since then the rand has gone from 14.5 to $1.00 to 18.5 to the $. onsequently , with costs in the rand the same , the cost per $1 is now $14.5

Thanks for posting another cracking good interview from THE MAN WHO KNOWS-Fortune.
Picking phrases and hints from it- he is obviously constrained in what he can say-he said that-:-
" There is a lot more value to our story than our share price reflects"
"we are looking into areas where we can [ improve the share price-my words]and in time the markets will see that" - Not an exact quote( over to you Pdub for a precise transcript )
"our q1 was very encouraging and [things are improving]"
This on top of the quotes provided by Pb940.
Finally he stated the best way to grow the share price was by having a sound company and performance and Bushveld has that. How many other CEOs can say that just now?
"we are still growth orientated " despite covid!!
If one reads that -and why on earth do the Investors Chronicle and other so called financial gurus in the Fleet street rags (even if they have moved downstream) not report such upbeat news- one just needs patience for this great company.
Finally he said
"The rand at December 2019 was 14.50 to the dollar and now it is at 18.50, which greatly reduces costs in terms of the currency in which Bushveld sells" Not half it does -that is a 27.5% reduction in cost. Not an accountant but doesn't that carry through to gross profits being higher than Q1 , even without any increase in production -which is coming!!
Wish I had more to invest but already all in!

Thank you faramog for the link. Listened in full. Disappointingly few questions.Also diappointing no comment on the fulfillment of the promised stock exchange move. I suppose he could not have told us anyway.
I agree with Pdub, essential that the company kept faith with the workforce and community. Hopefully will stand it in good stead for the future as it becomes more profitable with increased production. Great that production steady despite adverse weather and Covid. Think I shall just observe Buffet's advice -patience will bring its reward.

And that is ignoring the already predicted increase in production to, was it 8800 mt, so takes no account of future production , and above all gives no credit for the 99% certain contribution coming down the line from BE. Also only 10x P/e as against say, being conservative, 15x.
So SP Angel's forecast share value of 54p is sensible. Just my view.
