Couldn't miss this opportunity - missed the weekends chat as travelling, but caught up on all the posts before adding £12k

Last weeks RNS I thought strange wording "media speculation" when there hadn't been any - but they knew what the weekend was about to bring.

Probably hoped to avoid this today, but nevertheless, its a buying opportunity - will be interesting to see if the IIs add also - to name Montague in the RNS must mean the deal is agreed but DD is ongoing -yes we all know deals may not happen after DD - but naming a buyer in an RNS must mean they have very high confidence in the deal happening, and as others said, it must be reasonably priced otherwise why go ahead.

IIs will know how close and the outline terms, so tmrw will be of interest to see any adds.

Lets hope for a turn this pm - would be great to end the day on a string upward spike!

Capita have stripped a lot of cost and with an ESS sale, debt burden will be materially reduced - RNS today re sale negotiation

It worries me that some people feel they have to raise derogatory issues or abuse people and make fun when someone loses money - its so sad.

Keep posting there are lots of us that are very grateful

Not sure the news today is that material - its been banded about for months - market will react when its something more substantial IMO

Lets hope we get some better news within the next few weeks - then we will fly

Amazing to see Capita go red today, but market is down 0.93% as I write.

ian .. I only buy into companies that I would be prepared to hold - Capita in 20s was a no Brainer to me

Capita at current price is again a no brainer and Lloyds a few months back also

Sage drop last week was a great opportunity etc but I usually only "point pinch" where I have a LT Hold also.

Its a bit of fun! But as I said, with Capita I see it as a min 70p reasonably soon and with the sale news at any time, it could jump and my sell limit is way under the jump rate - missed out on a decant gain on G4S a few months back when they has an offer was gutted!

Some of the daily swings at the moment as incredible - my £20k add this morning at 44p, I so nearly sold when we went Green - decided to hold and now so wished id sold and bought back this pm! Nice hours work! BUT FOMO meant I held it so its just a good add at a decent price as far as I am concerned

This came about because a few II of Serco raised their stake in Capita

Ive taken a small position with Serco(£3k) but building Capita (£40k) - I think Capital has the ingredients to rise to 70p quite quickly and Serco to go 140p.

Like many here, I believe this is a great long term investment.

Ive made very good returns on the swings over the past few months

Jumped in with another £20k today when I saw it hit 44p - so tempting to keep playing these swings also.

Anyone else doing this? I'm just fearful of selling and missing the rise to 60p!

I think £7 is a loooong way off

There were certainly some bargains picked up these past few days and testing 610 will be difficult for a while I would suggest as there is short profits to be taken

Wouldn't be surprised to see 610 until Jan - then picking up slowly ahead of ExDiv date

650 by summer IMHO as there are still some other great bargains out there to be had

A great gain on Capita today and breaking and holding above 50p

I know not all agree there is an offer in the mix, but at this rate of rise it will surely flush it out sooner.

Lets enjoy this ride - having traded the swings for months, its great to now see it grow - Thank you Capita, youve paid for Christmas already!

Pubs cant make profits with SD rules in place - Lockdown isnt over, and likely continue in NY

Ill pick up decent amount at 55p - but keep day-trading between 65/73

£100k - More like it - at an avg similar to mine so pretty happy with that!

Noddi - An auction in 2014 brought $3.1M per carat I believe?

Would certainly solve a problem of what to get my wide for Xmas!!! (Dream!)

And these are 5 stones, so really hoping for a premium - but this share purchase was always a gamble rathe than an investment!
