Historically there has been a code (within the small transactions) - not necessarily used in the same way now and some of the small buys and sells will be automatic funds.

The MMs will play the PI - I would ignore the small transactions as even if they are still signals, then they will dictate the SP to a certain extent for short periods of time

The fundamentals of the business is why you should invest - if you are looking to day trade stocks without experience, you will likely get caught in the long term

Trust the reason why you invested, stick to your exit values/criteria and move on

Ignore short term movements - big rises often end with a drop as people take profits - no company is green every day

This was on CPI - on another small company that I am invested in, half of the buys have been under £20!

Its signals by MMs to each other to control the price

Each number has its own signal to other MMs

Its just the total other trades - so its avg price with volume

At least, thats what I understand it to be! Nothing to get excited or up tight about!!

Yes - amazing - although even from the small sample population of posters on here, we see a pattern created with buy/sells

The spread on this share is so big, until that shortens we cant see proper growth - it will continue to create profit takers flooding market and thats with "everything else remaining constant"

Agreed - not worried, just annoyed i changed my sell at 50.9 to 51.9 early Dec!! - Left a lot of profit there!!

Separate Q - There was talk yesterday of 3 large purchases (2x £1M and 1x £.5) ish? Was that accurate as I they weren't showing on the limited numbers on LSE

No RNS today - although more likely notified today & filed tmrw - just checking they were confirmed buys?

As such an unloved share, I'm not sure we will see £1 this year- I will be happy with 80p this year!

Would like to see 50p by mid Feb - lets hope 14th gives us some positive direction.

Like Eats and a few others, Ive added again! Hope to take a "reasonable" profit this fiscal year on half the investment.

Almost all of my other stocks are Green today - waking up 4 hrs behind UK at 4.30 and seeing this Red again was frustrating

I know many on here are saying we are being impatient - but when a share drops from 50p to 37p on no bad news when the rest of the market has increased, it does make you impatient - even for small daily gains! - Sorry!

I have received a few good leads from this board so wanted to share 2
1. ITX - yes it jumped big this week (ive been in about 2 months) but worth investigating - I think it will double bag from here
2. Sona Nanotech - Canadian Rapid Test, approval today with CE mark - jumped today, but next week they will be announcing contracts etc - this got to $15 a few months ago without approval - worth a bit of weekend reading

Been holding those about 2 months with little movement then 2 days - 25% jump each day! - Wish I had more than the £1k in there now!

I like data - Eats has been very good sharing charts and they are very useful and a good reference point

But Eats also says, they are not the only thing to look at

The current storm of Brexit, Covid and a US Baby in a Cot - are all major major events - once in a lifetime hopefully

This is where regular data has its disadvantages

If you believe CPI will come good (like I do) then you buy more in these times if you can afford it.
