RE: Update on [Royal Navy Award] Total worth up to Β£2 billion over 12years15 Jan 2021 13:27
Didar - any SP will only be based on realistic estimates of future earnings
Those earnings multiplied by a "reasonable" number - avg taken as x15 but different industries have diff avgs
That will give the Market Cap, then divide by the number of issued shares to give the target SP
Losing ESS income will adversely affect Total Earnings, but thi RN contract is said to be profitable very quickly and could replace that income
If Capita has been able to generate most of its income - fixed govt contracts should have been able to be negotiated (as per Chairmans statement in Nov) and with good cost control, then an Earnings projection of 100-130M maybe realistic and this is why I am so heavily invested here.
For me, this is the "safest" undervalued FTSE250 company
When I invest 5-10k in AIM companies, then I expect to hold for 3-5 years - just like PE or VCs
But I have Sage/BAE/Serco etc, all that will return me reasonable sums in due course, but CPI is a x2/3 win I believe
