Not the best of days!10 May 2022 20:22
Well we thought last week was the March back to mid 30s then a likely pullback before a rise to 42p
But world events and over priced NASDAQ shares have done our legs!
Scanned through a few msgs here, one great post from @ggrantsu. As he said, the daily swings although frustrating mean little to the value of the business
We know when she moves she can really move - and that has been upwards and down.
I contribute more on the discord group but little here these days as there is simply too many extreme views (both high and low) without properly backing it up.
Last week after SMs conference (not sure that was the reason or just timing of the seller out) we started to taxi for takeoff - nobody likes to be in the red on a share and most of us here are - I still have about £200k invested with an avg around 29p now
SM indicated that he thought they would soon be announcing more big contract wins and with the disposals promised to reduce debt this company is as safe as they come
The SP was low 30s last year even the day before results (from memory) and we quickly marched to 50p on great volume
People panicking here, stop - its a nightmare of a share but its safe and will come good soon - I think it will be the "Lloyds" of the market and probably will not reach a truly fair value, BUT 60/80p is still realistic in the medium term
Shame they haven't got the spare cash to undertake a buy back now at these prices because the value they would get would be amazing - in fact I would be very happy not to pay down as much debt from disposals and buy back shares at this SP - getting this back to 50-60p would make it a FTSE250 again and funding will always be available to refinance the expensive debt we have from overseas
Anyway, buy more here is far better bet than most IMO but I am biased because I have such a holding
GLA here and please DYOR
