One thing I have learnt with horse racing is that what's look good on paper (statistics ie. place ratios) does not always work out in the actual race! Cheers guys, 'Chutney Dave' Massey: was right to mention Harwoods Star - 2nd at 33/1. I did a last minute bet last night for the 440 race as Kirby was riding a 40/1 shot. It won but the odds had dropped to 12/1 (got best price) so I sometimes go for jockey selection or a horse who is seeing late market movement - you need all the info/help you can get sometimes! A couple to consider today. At Punchtown 130 TOON RIVER (Sky paying 5 places). The 200 race has five great high class horses and I will have a small e/w on ALELCHI INOIS 25/1 (won two of last three races) Cork 110 BLACK ICE good place record and the 200 race it's hard to see pass DOUVAN (worth a lay?) but for e/w value going for MOZOLTOV who has good recent place record. GLA
