Like everyone else - not the best day although I did use my Sky free bet from the first race on Tiger Roll e/w so that helped and had Haymount e/w as well. For the Sky money back 130 race tomorrow have gone for an outsider (might as well) KEEPERS HILL 14/1 (85% place record) although expecting a two horse race between Neon Wolf and Barclays - but we thought that today.GLA

Must admit did not even consider the 130 winner - got put off by the fact the horse usually cannot be bothered to race! Got 3rd and Altior in a L15 so started ok. I suppose because I do Lucky 15/31 tips mostly - I will stick to e/w in the main - but well done on your system disconcerted gla

Lefkosia, surely you would need two systems - one for win only and one for e/w to know which is better? The number of times we all get 2nd or 3rd place horses (probably more than 50% as we all have good periods and poor periods imho eg. if Lifeboat Mona and Cloudy Dream place - I get back a good return - but as win only .. I get zlitch.. I guess we all have to decide which method to prefer and/or how likely the horse is to win compared to place gla today

disconcerted, you are not the only one.. noticed the horse last night as sure I have had bets on him before.. being the outsider put me off .. do'h! Btw Moonracer now in the 330 race tomorrow at 10/1.. for the 410 race (Cheltenham) keen on Lifeboat Mona, Golin's Sister and Rons Dream as e/w bets.. too much choice lol gl

Thanks all. Harry, you never have a bad Cheltenham? That's quite impressive considering the large fields and the years quite a few outsiders win - although obviously quite a few favourites win too! Some promotions I have noticed for next week: SKY money back if you lost on the first race BETWAY ditto and the last race of the day CORAL bet £ 25 each day and get £5 online and £5 in shop free bets (connect card?) LADBROKES Mullins Money Back if he trains the winner in a selected race if you lose So hopefully taking advantage of some of these promotions will result in a profit making week for us all!! Cheers Harry - agree not great cards. Gone for WINK OLIVER in the first Lingfield race as some of us have put bets on the horse recently. Looking at the first race next Tuesday - at Cheltenham - so many horses have won their last 3-4-5 races so wide open - initially tempted to bet on MOON RACER but will wait for the weekend and final cards. Sky have money back on all first races during the festival (and Betway?) so great promotion. Might put a Kempton tip up tonight GLA

Hopefully we will all have time to put up tips for every Cheltenham race next week and I am having an quiet week to build up for extra bets at the festival. GLA
